I got a corset at orchard street corsets. That man looked at me, asked me to put my hands on my waist, told me I was a 22 inch… And he was right and it fit perfectly and it’s outrageous he’s so good at his job.

Not only was it a fun conversation but it also gave me the heads up that Gianmarco happened to be performing where I live that night (fun coincidence, never happens to me I'm always late to the party lol). Anyway it was my first time going to a live stand up show and it was so good! He is a very talented comedian and I hope I get the opportunity to see him live again because it was a blast!

Some people have longer or shorter torsos, or wider ribs even if they’re skiing, alternatively some chubbier people have much smaller hips or rib cages. He’s crazy good at his job.
I was a theatre kid and deep into theatre. I was performing and I had a long speech. The audience was just a few feet away. I forgot my line and could not find my way out of it and then someone from the audience said he forgot his line, which made it worse. I finally made it out. I made it through the rest of the play. The play was Murder in the Cathedral and we did the play in a cathedral
I feel like if you're designing your own things it's fair to go to a craft fair. If you're just printing something someone else made that's another thing completely
As a vendor, i say u should 100% give folks a little tip whenever you feel inclined. Just tell them you’re traveling and don’t have space to actually buy something but appreciate or want to support what they’re doing. B/c we have to lug everything with us including tents and tables and shit, vendors understand wanting to travel light. And since most are small business owners, little tips hit different

I think what we should consider about Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, however, is that we need more powerful black women with all sorts of public faces of success: ballet, Broadway, Supreme Court, President, Speaker of the House, cabinet members, Department of Defense Secretary, Generals, CEOs, etc. etc. etc.
