Any light person who increases the tire pressure before getting others to ride it, shows some wisdom and care. Thanks for sharing your experience.
So glad I ordered the Commander Pro!! Everything I thought you said. Gives me more confidence in my purchase
The CP is so awesome! Plus is way more slender (without the fairing system), which does affect the ride.
Thanks Jennifer!!🙏
This review is refreshing. When a channel can have a conversation about rider feel, it suggests that EUCS have come a long way. I remember when EUCS were considered just toys. I am looking forward to the next crop of EUCS, because it’s just about refinement now, instead of introducing untested add ons.
Thanks
I'm glad I never lived in a time when an EUC was thought of as a toy. How long ago was this?
I would like to see more classic body designs and hopefully at some point we’ll have a jump in battery technology and be able to lower the weight of these 3600-4600WH battery behemoth wheels. Also smart BMS and and better placement of charge ports and complete waterproofing, especially in the PNW, waterproofed wheels are the future.
Dawn Champion’s reviews of the Commander Pro sold me instantly. Dawn’s a rider who does all the speed tricks to get a wheel moving (MJ Lean, Superman pose). When I saw that she barely leaned into the Commander Pro yet she was already at 40+ mph, my first thought was; “finally a CORRECTLY tuned wheel”. Really this is how ALL EUC’s should be operating. You should not have to over lean to get a wheel to hit speed. So glad you love your CP Jennifer. Keep up the good work on your videos.
I still love my commander pro, such a good boy. Just getting home from Wednesday fast ride 🚀
Just found your channel while looking for a commander pro review, nice, thanks!
And I still have your old 16x you sold me😊!
So looking forward for more reviews!
Thanks for the encouragement ☺️
Awesome. I am waiting on mine. Getting it this afternoon. Is the button you have on your finder a bell or horn? If so can you send me the link? Thank you for all of your videos and tips.
Let's get the inside scoop, hot and fresh!
WheelTalk 🚀
Hey Jennifer! I did my first long ride on my CPro mixed road and trails yesterday and I couldn't stop smiling. I will say this...I'm a heavy rider and even with my weight, I don't want a wheel where I constantly have to lean in to access more power; it's the opposite! I want effortless power out of all my wheels. Combine that with the lighter feel and I was confident to take this wheel on trails that I wouldn't have taken my EX20S on and probably wouldn't take an EX30 either if I had one. The opening of new capabilities is more impressive to me than simple spec increases.
I'm also glad you mentioned the lack of having to buy more stuff...it totally adds up! I know in EUC culture that it's normal for folks to spend extra money on mods and accessories but you buy fairings, new linkages, new shock...it's pretty much the price of another wheel. While I will bring my pads over from my past wheel, the stock pads really aren't bad at all...soft and customizable with ready to cut lines for separating.
Speaking of shocks, the suspension is amazing stock. That's the suspension experience I expected out of suspension wheels all along.
Anyways, glad you are enjoying your wheel. I think for most EUC newer or casual EUC riders, the Commander Pro is the wheel of the year...stats of a big battery Master with the general form factor and balance of what you're used to in a Sherman.
Yep I agree. The CP is the big wheel of the year for me. I haven’t don’t any trails yet, if I did I would probably want a smaller wheel. 3600WH is also to whip around on tight trails, after riding the CP I think I’ll be looking at the CP mini for a trail/commuter wheel for getting to/from work M-F
@@EUC_Crush Part of the reason I didn't have a dedicated trail wheel in the past is because I either can only bring one wheel when visiting other EUC communities, or I usually end up riding wheel to the local trails, and smaller battery wheels wouldn't have enough range to get me back home. So one of the things I'm excited about is that while the CPro is still heavier than your usual trail wheel, it's still balanced and agile and powerful enough to get you to the trails, through the trails, and back again.
@@euc_sharkman definitely a good option if you’re riding to the trail and need that battery. Glad to hear you’re loving your CP as much as I’m loving mine.
Great meeting you yesterday. I much appreciate the input you have on the EX30 vs the Commander Pro.
Great to meet you too. Happy to share my opinion. These wheels are huge financial investments so it’s important to make sure you’re making the best choice for your needs. Really helps to be able to step on the wheel before you make your decision. Happy I could help.
Awesome video! What pads are you running? I ordered Grizzla but I like yours,
Extreme Bull need to make a competitor to the Master PRO. 22 inch wheel with 4800wh battery. I would buy!
The Master Pro is the ultimate long distance cruiser. Where are you riding?
@@EUC_Crush I mostly ride for fun. I could go all day if my wheel let me. I went from the S1 to s18 to OG Commander. I absolutely love my Commander. It has turned me into a Extreme Bull fanboy. I know that's stupid but its hard not to be enthusiastic about my wheel. I can tell from your video you feel the hype as well :) I've already put 1500miles on my wheel and I've only had it for 4 months. I'm ready for an upgrade lol. My dream wheel would be a Commander XL. 22inch tire 4800wh wheel. I just can't pull the trigger on a Master Pro. I feel like they are unfinished and you can't beat the Commander feel.
@@franklinbrown7389 I agree with you about the feel of the commander versus the master. It’s just so much more balanced. I’m sure that they’ll be coming out with new long distance wheels. That’s one thing we’re no shortage of in this hobby, unlike the Onewheels. I see there is a new “float wheel” coming out, a direct competitor to future motion. It’s a bummer that future motion is doing other competitors out of business. Bad business model for sure.
They build a CPro Max with 4800wh battery and it will be out later this year 😉
@@cyberunboxing69 YES! Good callout. I see the one video on it. Hope they don’t mess it up.
Beautiful stable of wheels ❤
Nice Video, Your addiction is very strong.......................😂😂
This started off as a hobby for me and quickly turned into a lifestyle. I was really disappointed and kept putting miles on my EX30 and every time I stepped on it, the C40 motor was just so heavy for me to manage. I definitely prefer that C38 motor.
ab to order a commander pro
I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the EX30 with the new firmware.
Same, race mode is superior
Fantastic video Jen!! I'm trying to decide if I should the Commander Pro or the Mini Pro. Love your view points on wheels. Thanks for sharing stay safe out there!
I’ll be getting the commander mini in a month. I’ll do a video on it and let you know how it rides and the pros and cons.
@@EUC_Crush Awesome!! I'm definitely looking forward to your review on the Mini Pro. I'll wait for your review before I pull the trigger and make the purchase.
My dream is a Veteran version of Master Pro. I want range and power but with their balance.
Master pro has 4800WH and this wheel 3600. Still a big difference, I wouldn’t want the CP to any heavier. I will say it has the balance of a Sherman max but the punchiness of a 134V wheel, more like and exn off the line.
I love your power pads. Where did you get them from?
Those are the Clark bio pads
Now I really want one, what brand and model is the tire that's on there? Not sure I've seen that one before.
What are the lights on the pedals? Id like to buy them.
Michelin city pro on command pro file even better
I had that tire on my exn.hs. I will change it when this current tire needs changed. It’s nice for me to have a little grip during the Portland wet season.
everybody like "I need a 134v wheel", then waiting at a stop light. :D
In Portland we treat it like a stop sign. If no one’s coming, I’m moving. Where you really feel the difference is on the hilly/steep rides. The power is undeniable.
by the way. where u get ur sun glasses from?
Oakley Sutro www.oakley.com/en-us/product/W0OO9406?variant=888392404800
I'm looking for a do everything wheel - should I wait for batch 3 Commander Pro , and how do you enjoy the knobby tire?
It’s a hybrid tire, which is good for communting on the Portland streets. We get a lot of rain out here. IMO the later batches always have improvements. What wheels do you have in your stable now?
@@EUC_Crush - I've been riding a V11...I'm looking for my next level experience!...I like the suspension, considered the V13, Sherman S.....Eventually, we want them all, lol!....I am seeking the next wheel. Tough with so many options.....
@@MGRodriguez1 tough to consider the S-Sherman with only 100volts in this new 134volt wheel world, especially considering it’s more expensive. The V13 is a unique wheel, great performance but the low battery makes it unappealing for my needs, again more expensive then buying any begode wheel from ungerground.
For me it was between the EX30 and CP. After trying both, I’d only recommend the EX30 to a heavier rider with more experience then I have, around 13k-15k miles
hi Jenn, maYbe off topic my lady rides a KS16x and plans to purchase a commander mini ASAP. Any thoughts on the mini? I would really appreciate it. Thx! 😃
My first wheel was a 16X. I think the mini is my 13th. I think she’ll like having the same 16” tire though it will take her time to understand how to demand the power of a 134V wheel vs an 84V. Help her along, get her to push past the 30mph top speed limits she’s accustomed to. Deep power pads will help her lean into the Commander Mini. Also maybe push her to go up a steep hill/mountain. So much torque in that 16” 134V commander mini. I’m taking mine out tonight 🚀
@@EUC_Crush My lady will be happy to know that you replied and thank you for your prompt response. When she's bored, she borrows my Begode Master and the look on her face is like pure joy. You know what I mean, right? Priceless! 😊
Currently she plans to purchase the Commander mini probably from Underground. I forgot you have a mini as well. BTW we both enjoy your videos and learning a lot from them. I cannot wait for her to enjoy her mini wheel. Keep up the good work and you're awesome!
@@rowrows6096 aww thanks for the kind words. If your lady can already ride a master, a commander mini from ungerground is a great choice. I’ve been riding my commander mini more then my commander pro lately because I do a lot of around town commuting. Where do you two live? What kind of rides do you like to take? Nothing better then riding on your wheel with your partner 💕🚀 have you looked into communication systems yet? I have a cardo system, you guys could chat with each other while riding….
@@EUC_Crush hI Jenn, thanks for your message. lol, You seem like a person I can with about EUCs with all the time. This is amazing! Anyways she just started riding the Master about a week ago because my back hurts lol (I might see a doctor one day of old age) ,and she borrows mine from time to time- not usually but she can.
I dont remember...where are you guys based at? We live in the heart of San Diego here and spend quality time w/ the local group rides (about once or 2x per month) esp. summer season whenever possible to pick up their other riding skills and be social about it. The leaders and folks here tell her she's ready for an upgrade like a T4 and that's how she came up w/ idea of the Cmdr mini lol
.
Would you happen to know someone in this city? The community such as EUCs, eSKATEs, Onewheels, and homies are great ! Wished you could ride with us! haha We really like viewing you group rides as well. It's so cool you know everyone's names haha. That's another way to connect and make friends! We have the Cardo comms and it's a game changer. Whatever gear I buy , I want hers to have safety hardware as well. Great chat and Thanks!
Andthing do i need to do to make it safer from fire? fan? wire?
Or do i have to worry about it?
No issues that I’m aware of 🤷♀️
@@mattkkk265Statistically, fires are rare. Most wheel fires have been attributed to modifications, abusive charging speeds, abusive accelerating over years (not days), and lack of battery balancing/monitoring/management. Don’t leave ANY wheel fully charged without using it the same day, EVER; this will reduce the chances to nearly zero. Fires are much more rare for EUCs than for cars, buses or phones but the risks should be taken seriously. Wheels like the V13 will eventually demonstrate whether battery monitoring is enough to inform us of the health of the cells in ways that can prevent thermal runaway issues. Time will tell.
