ONE of the issues is, is that he's not really invested in the black community like that(his base is largely Caucasian). He doesn't really date black women either. So, when he starts giving unsolicited opinions about a base that he doesn't really fool with, it hits differently.
Also, when he started his "public service announcement ", he started positive and loving. However, after the introduction, he went on to make a bunch of disparaging comments that honestly, weren't even funny. Plus, had he ended his psa on a positive note, it might have made a difference. IJS!
With all that being said, I actually AGREE with Aries about the fake eyelashes. However, he should have put MORE THOUGHT into his delivery. Especially, considering the fact that HE'S the messenger(and YES, that matters too).
