    Absolutely love how Sue Bruyce explains her process and breaks it down, so easily and completely. Her work is amazing and I love her style of work and how she communicates her ideas.

    Love the sharpness at 2.8 and the creativity. It’s good to see you shooting outdoors in natural light with these elements. Amazing work, as usual. Way to find the light that works best for the look you’re seeking!

    1:00 'reflector to control haze over top of camera' - what? The board is over your head, not the lens...so what are you talking about? Looks 'very' cloudy to me, in AZ.

    What do you use for white balance? Auto? Daylight? Kelvin?

    Instead of spending $2400 on a Canon 24-70 2.8 L lens and then putting a piece of broken plexiglass trash in front of it you could’ve just used an old Tamron lens that you can pick up for a couple hundred dollars.

      I'd put my Canon 5DS up against any of these mirrorless . And blow them all away. With my " old school" EF primes.

      @@MrCochise71 I shot the 5DSR for years and it’s a good camera but I would never give up the R5. It replaced my 5DSR and 1DX2.

      The point isn't the gear. The point is the artistic intent. You could have learned a lot from this video if you weren't so busy getting mad about lenses you can't afford.

    • @NoahStephens
      @NoahStephens 2 роки тому +2

      @@MrCochise71 Sigh. Photographs are made by photographers. The cameras are just tools. That said, some cameras have capabilities that others do not. The 5DS have slightly more resolution. It has noticeable worse dynamic range and high ISO performance.

    • @MrCochise71
      @MrCochise71 2 роки тому +2

      @@NoahStephens yes I know it's by the photographer. I've been shooting for Cabela's here in Utah for years. And I've never cared about dynamic range. I don't like mirrorless or the evf. The giant overpriced glass for mirrorless are insanely priced. Last thing I need hiking in the mountains is heavy giant glass.. I'll always be old school. But to each their own.
