@ pman5595 Not just the low notes, but the resonance he HAS on those low notes is almost unmatched as well. He is a true bass and not just someone who can sing low.
I keep looking at all the people in the back, trying to recognize past champions and their names and quartets. Emanuel Roll of Ringmasters, Theo Hicks of Instant Classic...I think I saw Jim (don't remember his last name) from Storm Front...
I believe it's a reworking of an 8-part arrangement done by Joel Rutherford... I think the original is the version sung by Flightline w/ Adrenaline, which these guys seem to have tweaked around with :)
It's a Joel T. Rutherford original, arranged for Nightlife in 2001, and then re-arranged for the Coronet Club in spring of 2001 (the 8-part version). I'm pretty proud of it. Drop me an email at joeltrutherford@mac.com if you need a copy.
Brett is one of the sickest BBS basses I've heard
guibox3 - 100% agree
That is certainly true in the sense that no one else can sing as low as him unless they have a cold

guibox3 What about Dan from Signature? He arguably sings with as much resonance and volume than Brett.
Is Kingdon texting around 0:45?
Oh man at 2:23 when the lead swoops up to the A, the high octave overtone is screaming!!!!
The best I've ever heard this quartet sing - absolutely AMAZING
Emmanuel's grin in the back at 1:44 haha
Dat bass doh! 😍😍
I've had this on repeat for the past 20 minutes!
I've heard many harmonize this tune. These boys are simply the best!
Wow love that bass part!
Sounds better every time I listen to this tune. Absolutely Fantastic!
I've listened to a lot of these performances... this is one of the few I'm repeating. The voices are so much richer than most barbershop groups.
Super!!!! 😃😃👌👌👌Sorry , just only a thumb up... here are some others! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I keep returning for that insane outro
A four-sided bona-fide KNOCKOUT! And that closer!

Jim Clark, i believe
@@matthew-qu2mn Yeah, that's it! Thanks man, have a nice day.
Not to forget Tim Waurick
I miss barbershop.
No one should ever be sitting behind a quartet this good while they are performing. Great performance and arrangement, and what a bass!
Bass power
Fantastic
This should be titled Come Fly With Me/Fly Me to the Moon Medley
Why? Forgive me if this seems stupid
Well they changed it
Wow they actually did it
wait what was it before?
@@lizbogonia I think it was "Fly Medley"
That bass. Damn.
BRAVO!!!!
めちゃくちゃかっこいいやん!
Awesome
Great from beginning to end - especially love the last ringing chord 👏👏👏👏
Everyone's faces when he hits that low note at 1:44 lmao
1:45 on the background, the original lead of masterpiece
Where can I find this arrangement? I've been trying to find it for a while, it's not on the BHS website as far as I can tell.

Anyone have any idea who the arrangement is by?
Dalbey is not amused.
He wishes he could post an A like that haha
Why did barbershop go out of style? This is lovely
It's on its way back, yay!
Nowhere near as good as Max Q version though....
I’ve not heard Q’s version but doubt it better. These boys are very hard to beat.
