The spices in chennai have different essence as per my experience. Though idli, dosa, vada with sambar is commonly available as expected, the street vendors are also exceptionally good at food. The sea food is also good and affordable to common people. Prawn 🦐 and crab 🦀 are famous. In veggies, gobi manchurian is also famous, I remember I had that nearby Chennai central station. Biryani is served with brinjal sauce and curd onion as you showcased already which provide different taste to it. Overall, enjoyed your vlog 📹 Memories refreshed! ☺️
sir I recently came across ur sikkim travel videos and it helped a lot,,,since I am really loving each and every video of visa2explore,,, ur food journeys evokes me to go on travels like this to hv different regional food,,,, all the best for upcoming journeys,,,, - huge fan of urs
Good work Harish jee, really loving the way you expresses your travel experiences. Love the way you speak. Now it's becoming my habit to watch your videos each night before I go to sleep.
The best part about ur channel is that u r always so sweet even if you don't like the food yet u never fail to give honest reviews good going sir, wish ur more success !!!

There are very few people in this world to whom when you see, you forget all your tension and just enjoy there company. You are one of them Harish sir. I wish one day I could meet you. God keep you always Happy. 😊🙏🏼
Nice video sir. I liked the biryani preparation. Now u r in south please try food from cities like puri for veg food, bangluru for both veg, n.veg. Madhurai & Kerala,Mysore, Kochi & Manglore if possible. Thank u harish sir.
Sir I like you video and travel blogs. Specially North East and Himachal one. I have a question that you try so many food items in a day whatever is special of that place you vist. Don't you have digestion problem as you eat so many things in a single day?
Hello Harish sir apki video ka hi intezaar tha first like and viewer hope that your channel hit more than 1 million this year. And love you and your videos.
Hello Harishji, thank you for this mind blowing episode. From what I know bangda has a different flavor from rest of the fishes, there certain few fishes like Bangda, karli, tarle that is sardines which have a little salty different taste then that of sweet fish like pamphlet, Lady fish etc, even the curry preparation for Bangda type fish is different then paplet and other sweet fishes because of the flavour the fish imparts to the dish.
Biryani of Hyderabad is not juicy as Chennai because we in Maharashtra prepare biryani in Chennai style specially in Muslim weddings and I am enjoying since childhood the special part is you don't get bored Chennai style biryani.I lived hyderabad for 4 months, first 4 weeks I enjoyed Hyderabadi biryani but then same taste did not attract me.But still i love both biryanis.
Harish ji, very good video, first experience me sea crab Khana chahiye, tab jyada achha lagta aapko. Yes veg and non veg both should be included in every video. Sath me thoda aur ghumna phirna bhi dikhaiye. Marina beach achha that.Travel and food dono dikhna chahiye. 👍
Hi sir mere bete ne b.tech S.R.M Chennai se kiya toh mujhe yahan aane ka mauka kai baar mila mujhe Chennai bahot pasand hai aur yahan ka food especially Andhra style food main jarur khati thi aur Marina beach per fry fish khane ka ek alag hi mazaa hai...... Sir aapne kabhi Bihar ka food enjoy nahi kiya plz ek baar Bihar ko explor jarur kijiyega jab sab normal ho jaayega toh.....
Nice, Do try 1. Normal Locho from Jaani Farsaan, Parole Point and some fusion ones like pizza locho and Schezwan Locho or Italian locho, it depends if you like cheese or not. Take you time to explore jaani Farsaan. 2. Dumas Road ki Tomato Bhaajia and Yam Bhajia 3. Some shakes from Bismillah ( Best Location will be the Vesu Branch) 4. Khaman and Khamani 5. Nankhatai from a good bakery, ( mainly Breadliner or Bakers Bunch) 6. Ghari ( You can't find it everywhere every time , its a bit seasonal. But I think you can get it in Dharti Namkeen At udhna Magdalla road)( I don't love it personally but its different) 7. You can even try the bubble tea from Dr. Bubbles and Waffles from Belgium Waffles , university road ( its hyped up right now in Surat) if you have tried it already somewhere else then no need to try it. No non veg here becuz most of the people here are vegetarian and most of the restaurants here are pure veg. I will update this list later
Sir, Starting the video suddenly with the line Agar mai kahu ki Chennai is the biryani capital of south India This suddenly intro line lift the video from the beginning Last time, same u did in Hyderabad Aap subah breakfast kitne baje karenge 6 baje 7 baje Starting with this kind of intro lines lift the video from the beginning Enjoyed this.....
not really.... i mean that's not the reason... but yes appreciate your input i need to keep the course in right direction.... street food helped the channel grow, so i shouldn't be moving far from there
lovely sirji... one more biryani plus baingan-chutney for me to make and try at home few months later (now due to health issues, i am off fat and meats for few months, so bookmarked this) hehe, i am virtually eating the foods from your channel i cannot eat physically now :)) and humus - lovely anytime!
Dear Harishji, after watching today's video, I feel that you have become repetitive, even your commentary looks stale. How can we add some spicyness to it, because I personally like you and don't want you to get lost in n number over utube videos on same theme. Please see some of Rocky and Muyurs episodes where comedy, tasting and information go side by side. I know now that you are a very sincere, hard working and simple person spending lakhs from your pocket so please be careful and remain creative. I personally would love you to shun the restaurant eating and explore home cooking in villages and very small towns, to maintain a sort of exclusivity in your channel. Finally there was no need to show carcasses of animals, which can be revolting experience for some. Best of luck.
you have a valid input, let me see what best can do done by me to keep this thing on track.. some times you know it helps to have live independent direction which is a plus in case of established brands but yes i can learn and pick up it...
Check out Mark Wiens from migrationology & Trevor from Food Ranger. We indians need to stop being so affected by everything and start opening our minds to the realities of the world.Meat comes from animals and i dont see any harm in showing carcasses in a non-veg video.Harish bai clearly has Veg Videos & non-veg videos. So for those who have issues with non-veg videos should just skip them rather than giving unnecessary negative comments.Harish bai rather than looking at local Indian food reviewers, you should try to be different and open to make yourself different from the rest. You may want to include english subtitles to your videos and also be more open and explore rather than having a reclusive mindset.

I am open to exploring but you know... its not an easy thing to talk about food that you have just started eating... while i used to eat non veg food early as well but that was like once in 6 or 8 months but now my RR has increased.... i am trying to understand how to eat, since we don't eat non veg at home, so only opportunity i get to learn to eat non veg is when i am doing video... well, i think it will take some time may be more than 1 or 2 years, considering the fact that i am slow learner that i get more comfort in talking about non veg food...but yes i am trying to keep myself open which is perhaps the reason i tried crab in chennai... but you know sometimes it may look so silly and stupid in video that i was struggling to eat crab but you know sometimes one has to just make a beginning .... nice to have your viewership and comment
Its gd to try bai.Trying will only develop your tastebuds further. However certain meats that make us uncomfortable such as beef, pork, exotic meats can be avoided.I personally think you are doing a great job and i love your videos. However if you want to expand your channel, you will need to appeal not just to indian crowd.Introduce subtitles to your videos and continue with the open mindset towards trying new foods that you have adopted and im quite sure you will hit 200K subscribers in a short time. 😀👍🏼
visa2explore before trying new things, for example crab, why not watch some youtube videos or google how crab should be eaten so that you can have some idea of how to approach the dish.
these days ur videos r just changed it entertains us alot and also special mention for ur background music which just adds values to ur videos. all the best for ur future sir
i don't mix veg and non veg in same video that would not be nice thing to do.. i have covered veg food varieties as well which you will see next sunday....
Sony XperiaXAUltra kyun bhai kyun jaye dusre channel par? Aapse Pehle se subscriber hoon harish ji ka.. Aur ek viewer hone ke naate bas apna opinion share kiya hai.
Excellent as usual, Chennai and Tamilnadu in general is known for its non-veg 'messes', serving great home-style Non-veg food, much more authentic and VFM than Anjappar for example.
Wonderful presentation as usual. Just one suggestion,, please keep the background music light and cool.. Like the background music you and your team used in the editing of Amritsar videos... Ur videos are light and enjoyable.. Please dont insert intense background music in it..
Do visit Bangalore and explore some of the Military hotels to explore Vokkaliga cuisine. Signature dishes include Ragi Mudde, Mutton and Chicken Kheema, Donne Biryani.
nice to have your comment and viewership... just sharing my travel and food experiences so it can help people like me to make their travel and food journey great to have your viewership
Not at all, but it i found masala to be different, spice on higher side....its hard to actually get similar taste unless you are at the place , may be some time if i get opportunity i will visit Chhetianad region
Great video again... That paste called hummas not hammas. That peta bread called Khubs in arabic. Secondly always use much lemon juice when you eat fish or sea food because lemon juice make it easy to digestion. Thanks again for nice video. With love, Aamer Lahore, Pakistan
Very nice video 👍👌 Sir my suggestion is that if you don't like non veg food then you should avoid it. Single non-veg food episode is enough per city and try to add street food as well, Indore series was a hit due to higher coverage of street food I guess.
Episode is good, but chennai is known for its authenticity of food and also for the privilege of a great history of the place Pls don't mind, this video just looks so fancy and does a high amount of injustice to chennai's food, chennai's food is all about fusion of various things, the masala, the authenticity everything is so unique there. I would highly suggest you to try the local food such as their thalli, sweets, n ofcourse their chicken 65(it's birthplace).. Happy foodhunting...:-)
thanks for this highlight.... more on Chennai food as we go.... i had Udupi thali in chennai wanted to cover Chicken 65 at Buhari , approached them 3-4 times but they didn't gave me permission to shoot... but yes i enjoyed chicken 65 taste....
Ur doing a great job keep it going and I am waiting for u to cum to Karnataka ,and some time lighting conditions are not so great so try to use ur own source of artificial lighting
glad you noticed that i faced challenge to eat it, took me about 1 hour to finish it what you saw in 4 minutes... but nice you noticed i tried something new
Harish bai i always notice that you are open to trying new things and that is what makes you a good food reviewer.Last time you tried prawns as well and that was great! Slowly and steadily you will deveop the taste and skills to approach these type of food that is new to you.💪
The new intro sound of the channel in the beginning of 10sec is very cool Sound gives Rich feeling or European feeling Don't change this sound.... Let be it as the channel sound for all upcoming videos
individual opinion, may be some viewers expected veg food video especially those who are pure veg.. i can understand bcoz someone who is pure vegetarian may not like to see non veg food video...
You have a great personality sir . Aaj aapse surat mei milke bohot acha laga at sai paratha. Sir aapne kaha tha ki gujarat ki jo basic authentic dishes hai uspe hi videos banaye . But i can suggest you that you can also show the good fastfood places even if it is not authentic of that place. Jis tarah aap breakfast , veg food, aur non veg food ke videos daalte ho ussi tarah aap fastfood ki bhi daal sakte ho which is good of that place even vo dish uss place ki nahi hai. Jis tarah aapne south indian food ka mumbaike videos mei daala tha vo bhi hume acha laga. Agar aap surat mei aate ho toh vaha ke street food jese kisi jagah ka grill sandwich famous hai toh uska bhi videos banao bhale hi vo us jagah ki authentic dish nahi ho. Aap us chiz ka bhi alag se video daal sakte ho . Thank you sir you are great.
i am so glad to see your comment... plus i am really delighted that we met at Sai Paratha.... you are right but you know when i covered kerala thali in Mumbai, lot of subscribers and viewers said that i should have and explore food of that state only.... so i thought to keep my focus there..... thanks still i will try to cover Sandwich if possible within available time.... leaving tomorrow, not sure whether i will be able to cover but will try....
I don’t know if you got a chance to try chennai sandwich. Because if you didn’t, you missed a hidden gem. Specifically their double egg sandwich. I don’t know why but I’ve never come across a similar preparation anywhere else. Just like Bombay sandwich is unique so is Chennai sandwich. Should keep it in your bucket list. Have it from some street food stall
Harishji your detailed review of food is really interesting. I love (not only like) ur videos because they give me complete knowledge about food and travel. It seems as though I am also there enjoying the sojourn and delicacies. Ur efforts are really appreciated.
Thank q very much. I am going to visit Chenbai in a few days and your video helped me lot . Now I can directly go to these restaurants and enjoy food. God bless you and keep them coming..
Sir, can you make a video on Thanjavur? That's a famous city and cultural capital of Tamilnadu as they call it. Please plan something there and you can include Karaikudi and Tiruchirapalli in your trip. Lots of respect!
Harish Ji. There is no doubt on your sincerity. But off late it’s just some restaurant chains which you are covering. It would be good to visit remote places, villages, exclusive highway etc. this will keep channel content always novel. Always your fan. Also try to cover different genre of foods.
we all must respect your hardwork and honest effort behind each video...respect to you!!! thanks
so nice you appreciated the effort that goes behind this
The spices in chennai have different essence as per my experience.

Hello Harishji, thank you for this mind blowing episode. From what I know bangda has a different flavor from rest of the fishes, there certain few fishes like Bangda, karli, tarle that is sardines which have a little salty different taste then that of sweet fish like pamphlet,
Lady fish etc, even the curry preparation for Bangda type fish is different then paplet and other sweet fishes because of the flavour the fish imparts to the dish.

Don't know why u r not trying street food now days? May be becoz it's easy to shoot inside restaurant but missing streets.
not really.... i mean that's not the reason... but yes appreciate your input i need to keep the course in right direction.... street food helped the channel grow, so i shouldn't be moving far from there
Pravesh you are exactly right, Real indian food can only be experienced on streets..

Hi bali Ji, I don’t know about your videos but your saaadgi I love it. Not fake 👍🏼keep it up. I m from Australia, really loved your videos
nice to have your comment and viewership... just sharing my travel and food experiences so it can help people like me to make their travel and food journey great to have your viewership
Nice vdo I like to ask you a question sir is chetinand food very sour in taste??
Not at all, but it i found masala to be different, spice on higher side....its hard to actually get similar taste unless you are at the place , may be some time if i get opportunity i will visit Chhetianad region
Great video again...
That paste called hummas not hammas.
That peta bread called Khubs in arabic.
Secondly always use much lemon juice when you eat fish or sea food because lemon juice make it easy to digestion.
Thanks again for nice video.
With love,
Aamer

appreciate inputs... great to have your viewership on visa2explore
Very nice video 👍👌
Sir my suggestion is that if you don't like non veg food then you should avoid it. Single non-veg food episode is enough per city and try to add street food as well, Indore series was a hit due to higher coverage of street food I guess.
you are right, point taken thanks
Episode is good, but chennai is known for its authenticity of food and also for the privilege of a great history of the place
Pls don't mind, this video just looks so fancy and does a high amount of injustice to chennai's food, chennai's food is all about fusion of various things, the masala, the authenticity everything is so unique there.
Nice to see your videos sir. Thanks a lot. Next time please do cover odisha as well. It has also mind boggling foods.
sure i will plan trip to Odisha as well, lets see how soon i can do that
Thank you sir. Please do try odia foods in Cuttack, Bhubhaneswar, Chilika, Puri and other places. Nice to hear that.
South Indian people are lucky to eat some of the most delicious food on earth.....
Crisp edit nice work.... may be a good camera could enhance the experience..
thanks, while the camera is good but our usage of that we need to learn we are using it in auto mode, need to learn to use it in manual mode
Ur doing a great job keep it going and I am waiting for u to cum to Karnataka ,and some time lighting conditions are not so great so try to use ur own source of artificial lighting
bought external light now... hope you will notice improvement after chennai and coorg series...
+visa2explore it's good that ur making balance bcoz earlier vdos were of veg but I think ur getting non veg addict😂😂😂
Bht accha laga..love from assam(ADeka)
excellent food and excellent work keep it up.the tourism ministry should advertise such lovely food...use internet
So proud of you harish bai! You tried something new! Crab. 😊👍🏼👌💪
glad you noticed that i faced challenge to eat it, took me about 1 hour to finish it what you saw in 4 minutes... but nice you noticed i tried something new
Harish bai i always notice that you are open to trying new things and that is what makes you a good food reviewer.Last time you tried prawns as well and that was great! Slowly and steadily you will deveop the taste and skills to approach these type of food that is new to you.💪
Sir non veg food best krte hain aap. Shandar video as usual
thanks,
The new intro sound of the channel in the beginning of 10sec is very cool
Sound gives Rich feeling or European feeling
Don't change this sound....
Let be it as the channel sound for all upcoming videos
yes more on new music as we go
आप का हर एपीसोड बडे प्यार से देखता हू,बहोत बढीया.मजा आया
Next time for biryani go to thalapakatti in nungambakkam or ambur biryani in anna nagar and shree mithai for sweets and snacks.😁
Sir, you made my day with perfect non veg food coverage. Wonder why people don't like it.
individual opinion, may be some viewers expected veg food video especially those who are pure veg.. i can understand bcoz someone who is pure vegetarian may not like to see non veg food video...
Sir please keep it up I eagerly wait for your videos and your way to present the food to viewers is really awesome
thanks
Best explore channel of india
Sir,seriously you have made your content very nice and are depicting everything really nice.Great job,
#never stop eating
thanks for appreciation of content
Sir how do u manage to stay fit n healthy even after taking so much of rich food?
balance it out with work out when not travelling...
Have it from some street food stall
oh i was not aware other wise i would have had it
Harishji your detailed review of food is really interesting. I love (not only like) ur videos because they give me complete knowledge about food and travel. It seems as though I am also there enjoying the sojourn and delicacies. Ur efforts are really appreciated.
thank you so much for appreciation of content on this channel........
@@visa2explore u r welcome 👍
Karaikudi place is 100 kms from trichillapalli and Madurai also.
In egg plant curry they will use curd ( dahi) usually it was originally curated by muslims ...
awesome harish ji you found a great place and thanks for biryani recipe
super
Thank q very much. I am going to visit Chenbai in a few days and your video helped me lot . Now I can directly go to these restaurants and enjoy food. God bless you and keep them coming..
wow so nice, do share your experience on chennai food after you go there....Today at 9 am you will see surat street food journey....
Dishes Mouth Watering he sir! Excellent Video
thanks
Thanks so much for sharing the ingredients for some of the preparations. My wife tried her hand at the Baigan ki chutnee and it turned out excellent.
Harish your street food coverage is more detailed. This video too entertaining. Please cover various street foods across cities you visit 👍
sure more as we go
Very nice episode. Making of Mutton Biryani is awesome
oh yes nice thanks
Sir, can you make a video on Thanjavur? That's a famous city and cultural capital of Tamilnadu as they call it. Please plan something there and you can include Karaikudi and Tiruchirapalli in your trip. Lots of respect!
Harish Ji. There is no doubt on your sincerity. But off late it’s just some restaurant chains which you are covering. It would be good to visit remote places, villages, exclusive highway etc. this will keep channel content always novel. Always your fan. Also try to cover different genre of foods.
you will see different aspect of food journey in my Coorg travel.. food at home stays.. exactly the type of content you are writing about
The white sauce is normally called TUM in arabic.....it has good quantity of garlic and is eaten with shawarma or qubus (pita)
wow.....
