  • So, just putting this out there since there are those that may not realize the mistake they make by putting in the wrong hardware in certain places. I've seen this all too many times and I hope you find this video useful.

    I bought the screw kit from ACS...is there a diagram of where the various screws go on the tank panel? Most of the screws removed from the panel were incorrect so I have nothing to go from.

    When you put tank cover panels back in place do you need sealer where they slip under other panels like the leading edge, thanks Bill

      Thanks...I will be back on it this summer, I have to pay the bills and there are a lot of airplanes to fix and i am a one man shop....I try to do the best i can...which sometimes takes all the time of day and it still doesn't get done.

    Great video. British Airways 5390 lost a windscreen after someone replaced it with 8-32s instead of 10-32s. Details matter.

    Can you make a video and teach LAME (AP's) how to make fuel caps following the airflow, not perpendicular.. Apparently not a big deal..

      Sometimes the fuel cap it limited to where it is because of how the neck is installed. Sometimes you can clock them close but not perfectly in line with the slipstream.

    Yeh, GA cowboys everywhere , I am in Australia and my R172k panels were a mess bottomed out screws in anchor nuts, screws put in with loose nuts you name it. Lazy slack GA Maint. "Not happy Jan"
