So excited to see Iraq through your eyes. Thank you for sharing and safe travels to you. Mesopotamia is the cradle of civilization, I have always been interested in what it looks like today.
Thank you so much for your positive thoughts about my country Iraq, welcome to the cradle of civilizations 🇮🇶! I was born & raised in Basrah , like 45 minutes away from the city of Qurna but Iv never been to the garden of Eve, I was jealous 😁, enjoy your visit and stay safe
Thing I love about vloggers like this is that it cuts away at most of the propaganda stuff about what certain countries are like. End of the day, most are just normal people that are up for a chat.
I haven't seen a brave woman like you... Welcome to the land between rivers, Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilisations Iraq... Take care dear, wish you all the best.❤❤❤⚘️⚘️⚘️🇮🇶🇮🇶🇮🇶🙋♂️
I enjoy catching up on your travels with your intermittent videos. As always the interactions with people are a highlight though I'm a sucker for the riding sequences and adventure too. Love your work!!
In the raining season these marshes raise and fall about 1 meter and like you said it's fragile , You can't believe how this 1 meter affects the fish and the plants which are the essence of the echo system here
Hi Alex, Great video i read a book a few years ago cannot remember the title, about a British Nurse that met an Iraqi in Birmingham England who was studying at university then married and move to Iraq in the 1960 it was quite enlightening to learn that Iraq second language in the 60s was English and that there was a lot of English radios stations I imagine form colonial Britain? Not withstanding this it was quite obvious that the people of Iraq are like all all genuine people kind generous and welcoming. ❤ Love your work ❤
planning to ride around the world , love your videos as it is as it comes the bad and the good . hope to meet you once on the roud or in dubai , greetings from a belgian -)
Not just climate change caused the dryness, but actually, Turkey, Iraq's bad and jealous neighbors, cut off the Tigris and Euphrates on Iraq by building massive dams. Anyways, welcome to Iraq, and I hope you'll come back again in the future as Iraq has only now started growing with this current government that was formed only 5 months ago.
@@here.a7med Ended corruption, continued lagging projects, and provided employment to millions plus repairing streets and cornices, activating agriculture and manufacturing, social security, tourism, enhancing security and safety. About the passport, the foreign minister is Kurdish and is a separatist, so he's messing up on purpose to hurt Iraq and Iraqi passports by randomly giving diplomatic passports to thousands of people thus our passport is lagging but this will be fixed when the upcoming mass sacking of ministers happen. When you activate agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism, the economy will improve automatically. This government is 6 months old only, I expect Iraq's gdp to signal high-ranking in 2024. This government also invested in Iraq's massive gas reserves, which need 2 years to start exporting, plus the oil price is high and Iraq is 2nd biggest exporter of oil in OPEC so 2024 is going to be great for Iraq.
Thx for sharing your trip. What a treat to visit the Garden of Eden and Marshes despite their current condition and reflect on how it was as it's described in the Bible.
Welcome to Iraq and sorry for chaotic views you face, this country were much better before, thanks for your positive attitude,, wish you enjoy your journey.
As you put it : The one woman circus . Both funny and to me, also a bit scary . First time watching your videos and i'm hooked already. Keep it up ! Stephan, Antwerp (B)
"Did you know that the tale of Adam and Eve, familiar to many, actually finds its roots in ancient Sumerian mythology? It was the gods Innana and Enki who were the precursors to these revered figures. The tale was crafted by the Sumerians, who lived in the city of Urr, situated near the convergence of two powerful rivers. It was the majesty of this setting, where the rivers intertwined and merged into one, that served as the perfect inspiration for this epic saga, reminding us of the magnificence of nature and its ability to inspire great human stories.
You know a picture speaks a thousand words. That old man’s expressions and shaking his head said what we know he was thinking. A young lady riding across the Middle East on a Motorcycle. Now I’ve seen everything! 🤣🤣🤣

Do you think that Iraq is dying? You need some patience so that you can see with your own eyes that Iraq cannot die. These are not just words; Be patient and you will see.

What kind of growth has this government achieved?
Is the economy better or is the pasport stronger than before?
