I loved Battle for Naboo back then, I think it’s really a forgotten gem this day in the Star Wars games. I really hope nightdive will take care of the Factor 5 SW games. We need their games on modern platforms (3D, Rogue Leader, Rebel strike and Battle for naboo)
I don’t mind Phantom Menace, but oh man Battle For Naboo was something else. What really stuck with me besides the awesome gameplay was how surprisingly DARK the game was in its tone. I wish we had gotten another Factor 5 produced Star Wars game, but the Clone Wars game from Pandemic was pretty close.
Battle From Naboo and Starfighter were both awesome Episode I tie ins IMO. I hate Jarjar, everyone hates Jarjar. Even the Gungans hate him. First they made him a General hoping a battle droid would decide this makes him a high priority target. Then when that didn't work they sent him to Coruscant, aka far, far away, in a position that had no actual power until Padme went temporarily insane in Episode II.
Man, those Naboo Ships are SEXY! Especially that bomber, Its almost as good looking as Padme's ship from Episode 2. It's a shame they gritted up the N1 in Mando. Also, have you ever considered doing a video on TIE Fighter or Rebel Assault 2? Those two games introduced my favorite TIE varients: my beloved TIE Defender, and the almost as cool TIE Phantom.
Wow. I didn't know the game was developed by Factor 5, nor did I ever seen gameplay until now. I thought this a cash garb base off the cover art and title. Thanks for the recommendation.
Pretty accurate analysis. One thing about Star wars games you can find cheat codes for the early releases. PS: Hey Gen if you are walking around wearing a storm trooper uniform.........it may be time to seek professional help.
I highly recommend the Hal9000 edits of the prequels which resequence them, add a few deleted scenes, and take out a few minor annoyances. They lead me to the one conclusion that every true Star Wars fan must one day make: George Lucas is a terrible editor.
I honestly wonder what a prequel hater like yourself would think of the video "How to Watch Star Wars, Part One: The Prequels Are Better Movies Than You Deserve", would any of it change your mind about those films?
Not really. I don't actually hate the stories. As I love the novelizations of the movies. And I love many of the things birthed by the prequels. But the movies themselves are lacking in many places. Also the title of that video is super clickbate 😬
@@GeneralLotz Title of the video aside, it was very insightful of Lucas as an artist. Everyone knows Star Wars was influenced by samurai films and serials, but Lucas is way more interested in experimental and art films and filmed Star Wars like a documentary. The idea of the force came from a short experimental film '21 87'.

I'm going to do x wing and tie fighter next year. I'm actually starting to run out of star wars games 😬
@seraphim-enjoyer hmm that might not be to bad. Right now thought I am moving onto 40k for the next readers guide
Fantastic review.
While I generally preferred rogue squadron, I forgot about some of the great levels in this game. Thanks for the nostalgia hit!
Salute General! You switched up the time your video releases now I'm late to the party! You bastard! Great video as always! -Medic out but on standby
Every Midi-chlorian in me agrees this is another excellent entertaining review General!
