Why is this dance called Water of Leith?

The Water of Leith is a river that meanders through Edinburgh from the Pentland Hills in the south to Leith Docks and the Firth of Forth. The formations in the dance represent the river flowing though our city.

Dougie Watson Hi, the original tune is “The Games 2014”, it was composed b6 Graeme Munro and its’s Graeme’s band that recorded the CD. If you click on the title of the dance there is lots of info.
