Ginger and Eric's fills during the quieter parts and of course Jack's ability to sing while playing complicated chords and notes always made Cream sound like a 4 or 5 piece group when I first heard them.
Being a "wanna be able to play this properly" guitarist most of my life I really wish we couid see more of Eric's fretting. I did figure out some by watching where Jack was.

I love this song. Jack's voice, Eric's wah-wah guitar, Ginger's energetic drumming (plus Jack's bass). What a legendary group, they were more than just a supergroup.

It goes without saying how incredibly talented this group was. All genres of music a generation required REAL talent. No auto tune, no dubbing, just raw emotion and talent.
Jack Bruce was a very underrated bass player from his era. Even today there are not many real bass players that play this genre of music could play at Jack Bruce's bass skill. His bass playing really complimented Eric Clapton's shredding power 🎸
J.B attended a Scottish music school and was trained in the art of the classical performance ... initially he conformed to this and yet he also added and the key word to the chef here that's cooking this original meal is that he added other aspects of musical study to what he already knew.. and he rejected classical music teaching generally speaking for much the same reason that Miles Davis left juilliard in New York New York
Clapton hated it .. Thought there was three guys soloing most of the time .. and the other two did not get along and he was always caught in the middle ... till he decided to leave

In about 1980 or 1981 i drove down to Florida to see what spring break was all about. I met a young woman on the pier of fort myers beach. This songs lyrics perfectly mirrored what transpired between us. Those days can never be duplicated.

It was Jack’s wife filming she knew the song really well it was about not showing what Clapton was playing so nobody could rip him off remember that was a thing back then
