So beautiful ❤ continued success with the snowmobile. Thanks again for sharing another great video 😊 Take care and have a wonderful week ❤🌻🌻

Hi Don! Im happy to see you didn’t end up having to walk back ! The drive back was beautiful with those trees ! the snowmobile definitely sounded a lot better once you got it going after you fixed it !
Hey Don Good morning. Really cold up there and here. Glad the old girl started and got you out of the bush. Like how you widened the trail on the way out. So many just make wide as their sled. Great plan with the palllet bench. Keep those fires going Mr. Stay warm.
Yup you will always see my trails where ever I can they are all 10 feet wide :) Ya after jacking one log I said there has to be a better way :)) -34 outside +24 in the shack ! Thanks Glen"
Hello from Dawson, nice to find you’re content and funny how It works like that. I like the rez trapper from Fort Nelson and the algorithm must recognize the local content. Not sure but great stuff!
Welcome :) Ya it's funny how it works, Yes just because we are not far away doesn't mean a thing lol, My next video out Thurs Is more getting to know me & how I was able to do what I did & kind of how I did it, More a Q&A from questions past :) If I miss something let me know :) Glad you enjoyed stay warm"
Hi Don! A year or two ago there was a snow mobile for sale here in Nova Scotia. It was in show room condition. A Yamaha Bravo just like yours. I know hindsight is 20/20 but really wish I would have bought it. We haven't gotten much snow in the past few years but there is going to be that one winter when we get way too much snow. Once those pallets freeze together your ramp should work well. Let gravity do the lifting. Work smarter not harder. Lol
Them Bavo's are hard to kill unless you get them really wet :( Mine is an 2007 they are usually pretty easy to start, good pull rope , My tundra is a way harder to pull but it usually starts good for me, Bigger motor & I can pull two taboggans once I have a good trail :) I only haul two miles so just a nice ride, Ya while I was jacking I was saying to myself there's got to be a better way :)) I haven't made a run over it yet but warmer next week so soon ! Thanks for the comment"
Hi Don. Jumpins, some cold -28C. Brrrrr. Great that you got her going. We use to spray WD-40 on the wires to displace the moisture, so the spark would work. I was wondering if I was two cylinder or one. I see now. Have a great Sunday. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋🇨🇦🪵🔥🪓
Thanks for the tip :) I was a little far from my WD-40 lol :) Yes just a little 250cc one banger :) If I get my old yellow beast going next week it a 300cc one banger, It's much better making trails & pulling my trail groomer, Have a great weekend
Yes I don't mind the dry cold we have as long as there's no wind :) After -20 there is always inside things to do, Never a shortage ! Thanks for watching :)
What a beautiful spot, opening looks beautiful, like your back rack and sled, love the older sleds, mine isn't old from the 90's but I call it my trapper sled because I go slow on trails and don't mountaintop with it, I like running the old TNT's and 340's, but ended up only found a good ole Artic Cat, you are going to have nice trails, always something to do when you are off grid, its hard work but rewarding life in the bush, take care and thanks for another great video
Ya it's a hard life but it's good :) Ya that Bravo I run is a 2007 & my fav I should have up & running next week is a 95 tundra :) it's a one cylinder work horse ! TNT had one of those back in the day & 440 bearcat for a couple years, Was a Gas hog, Thanks for the comment! Take care"
Glad you found it, the bigger glove is there for warmth on the really cold days :) Yes if you check out earlier video's back in July I had a skill saw booboo ! Got three the thumb half off the finger mangled & the middle one not as bad :( the pointer kind of took but still have bone in the end that hasn't reconnected yet, Work it everyday to try & get it bending again, Chores don't stop at the cabin :) Thanks for watching"
Howdy Don- glad you got your snowmobile running again. Would have been a long walk home. I’m guessing the snow will be there till spring. If we do get a snow it all melts off in a short time. Take care and stay safe and warm. God bless
Yup the snow is here, Only 4-5 inches but we hit -34c last night so the wood haul waits until next week when it get up to -10 :) I think we will have lots of it till spring, Thanks for watching! hope you had an awesome weekend :)
They are a stone boat ride but small enough to get around in the bush where bigger ones can't go :) I will hopefully have my yellow best going this week ! Thanks for watching"
off grid You would live ? You must be a comedian lol :) Informative Q&A How I did things ground up over 11 years coming Thurs :) We all need a good laugh once in a while ! I checked out your channel I will check out more a little earlier in the day :) Take care"
I thought that looked like a bravo, i have wanted 1 for years. I had a enticer 340 about the same vintage as a kid me and my brother bought when we were 10. I also had a 70s skido elan 250 single, the 250 was by far more fun. Easier on fuel but also not alot of power so it would go anywhere and if it didnt well 2 idiots could pick it up and carry it out of the snow bank. It was so much fun. Those old yamahas are legendairy.
Yes it's just a step up from the elan, This one is actually a 2007 but that long track makes it pretty heavy for a guy with a bad back to drag around, But small it's easy to get around through the trees ) Bigger ones are to wide to follow my trails lol :) Thanks for watching"
@littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 I had no idea they still even made the bravo, I just assumed it was a late 80s, the front looks like the 80s-90s yamaha sleds so I assumed that was the vintage of yours, that is pretty cool though.
You got that right! It was ok at -10 but I cut a lot of wood at -15 0r -20 see what happens it -34 today but warmer I'll be in the bush next week :) Yes something to keep it warm but not sure how they would work in the snow with chainsaw, but am looking :) Thanks for the comment"
You should have seen the mess I got us into today....trying to cut trail I went straight up into the trees...winding my way thru the willow so thick you wouldn't believe it and guess what? I was totally stuck and did get one second of video!!! It took like forever to cut my way out. I'll remember to video next time!!
I usually cut trail first Jed lol :) I hope you stayed sunny side up ! I don't like the willows always less cutting if you can stay in the big timber, Some times the cam is not important & some times I just forget too :) but ya some times a lot of cutting to get there, Once I have a trail in I just look ahead for the dry trees & that's the way my trail goes :) If you can keep going just stay in the big stuff so your not trying to make multiple trails, Hope you can get the material you need up there to build a good wood sleigh :)
@@littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 It dumped me off once....ski hit a stump and over she went! No damage to me or the machine. Massive dead standing but it's surrounded by a forest of willow....we cut for hours yesterday and got about half way to the trees I'm after. And I believe I know have gathered up enough material to start on the sled.
Welcome to the channel, hope you enjoy the videos! In the next one I'll be answering some questions kind of start to finish how I built at my acreage :) Thanks for the comment"
Don, I’m glad you got it going. That would’ve been a long walk out. I like your idea with the pallets and the snowblower good thinking stay safe my friend.
Don I have a question do you ever trap or is it something you have on Internet in or not enough fur around you glad you didn't have to walk home see you on the exist one👍👍🇺🇸🇨🇦
Yes I trapped for 20 years lots of experience in the bush but never took any video at that time, There is all kinds of animals that could be trapped here but this land where I haul wood is someone else's trapline so I'm not trapping wish I could :) Thanks for the comment"
Yes when they cut them, always seems like they aim for my trail :) They have a big house but most of the water drained away, they are not going to be able to get to their food so not sure they will survive the winter & the trapper here don't even trap them, Thanks for the comment"

Thanks for taking us on the ride, Don! And that was a great idea using the pallets as steps/ramp, I might have to do the same here sometime soon!
Ya they work well, the wood will be piling up soon if we don't get some warm milling weather :) Thanks for the comment!
Thankyou 😊
Glad you enjoyed ! The wood haul starts soon :)
