This is a very interesting topic Chris and I have so much to say about it I love perfumes, and I use them all the time, except when I go to a forest or any natural area or in my garden! I am a gardener, a baker among many other things and I can tell you, those insects are crazy! but especially in the summer, though it's not even full summer here and some days ago we had a hornet in the kitchen at night!! We got rid of it, safely for everybody, but it was scary, it was gigantic, I had never seen one like that, maybe it was the queen? and they are protected by law, so you should be careful to handle them 🧐can also be dangerous... Many years ago I was attacked by bees, I guess it was the whole colony no joke, the reason was that that very day I used a soap that had sandalwood and honey :O I went outside to a very open place with lots of trees and nature, I guess I got too close to the beehive and they are very territorial so maybe they thought it was another colony? I have no idea, it was scary and for the longest time I could not even get closer to anything honey, fortunately I'd overcome that traumatic experience and I love honey again, in fact I love super sweet fragrances that sometimes I think I'm a bee lol so from experience I would recomend not to use anything sweet including honey, by the way I love Guerlain 'Nettare di Sole' that has honey lovely in the summer, but I would use it carefully in an open space with lots of trees and vegetation... Love your content Chris keep it coming!

I have heard of people being bitten by insects that have scents on It is serious issue if prone probably should carry an epi pen. Good tips to avoid a reaction

Oh no! That would be terrible. I’ve gotten followed by bugs but never bitten. I guess it also depends is you are a heavy sprayer like me 😂 😝

I guess it also depends how much perfume we use, some people over, over over spray! That will deffinetely get you some 'followers' 😂 Also, like 2 y ago I had a purple lavender plant, it got so big and beautiful and the bees loooved the flowers so much, they didn't even like it when I had to move the pot to water it, they seemed annoyed and were even following the pot where I moved it I had never seen such a thing again the plant was so fragrant with the flowers, so it makes me think about the Hermès Eau de Basilic Pourpre (purple basil) I don't know if that would also be a bee 'magnet' if I over spray??? Thanks so much for this video, I love this topic. Have a great week :)

... last one: I avoid perfume in the garden, but I for sure wear lipstick! at least that doesn't cause me any problems 😄

You always keep it stylish. I always wear fragrance. Even in the garden, then I complain about getting followed by bugs 😂
