Tech went form being effectively a background character last season to arguably the best character this season with really only crosshair contending with him as the potential best character of the show
When they showed us more Tech in season 2, I was very happy because he deserved more attention. But then I realized that if Tech got more time in the series, then there must be some sad ending behind it.... And unfortunately I was right...
And Crosshair is very intresting character too!

Tech died because he wasn't good at expressing emotion but he was great at expressing his love for his batch and Omega with knowledge and actions.
From a story point of view, Tech represents the best of the knowledge and honour of the Clones and the Republic and his death shows how much the universe lost and its horrible cost.
I'd argue that Obi-Wan, Vader, Fives and Tech are the most impactful deaths in Star Wars.
P.S. Crosshair sees Omega as Tech's daughter and encourages everything Tech-like in her. It's why Crosdhair doesn't argue vety strongly against most of her plans
Tech is a really interesting character. And his story is one of the best written Star Wars stories. It's a pity that he sacrificed himself for his brothers and Omega. He deserved to live. But Tech was very loyal to his brothers so he had to sacrifice himself.
And his relationship with Omega was adorable.

Tech was a good soldier who didn’t follow orders 🫡 he will be missed
Tech was even ready to sacrifice himself for his brothers. They were a family and for them, orders were not important but their own safety. I love how the soldiers became something more.

The thing that really gets me is how Tech's advice to Omega in " The Crossing " not only helped her deal with Echo leaving the squad but will likely also help her process his death. 🥹
That's true. Now his words really make sense, and Omega will slowly be able to live on. Tech prepared her for his death 💔
