These DIYs are fantastic Jennifer. We rescued some roadside chairs in rough shape and turned a couple of them into “planters” after sanding, painting and giving them a coat of lacquer. Love the footstool idea and will be borrowing that one. Thanks for sharing and I hope your summer is off to a great start. 🤗

I love your swing. I had one for years & used it all the time. I haven't been able to find anything that I like. Hopefully I can get one before summer ends & enjoy it after I'm done crafting lol. Nice job on the chairs, they came out good. I have a stash of things that I have found on the side of the road that I'm going to makeover some day. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but they always love the finished product.

Hi Jennifer!! You scored big score on those chairs. Your porch looks so beautiful and inviting. I can never find anything good at the road. A few years ago hubby and I we're trying to stabilize our mailbox and someone thought since it was down and at the road it was trash so they took it and we had to end up getting a new one. It all turned out great! I'm looking for, well, I'll just say it how it is......I'm looking for cheap ways to update my screened in back porch and this video gave me some great ideas. I'm also thinking about hanging some bamboo blinds for privacy and heat reduction. Any ideas for where to buy?

Could you share the Amazon code for the boho table runner pls ma'ma. I love to repurpose items. When I'm looking for something to repurpose i hit yard sale first & when the weather is bad or yard sale season has ended i love "Habitat for humanity " you never know what they have and its fun. Alot of big box store donates seasonal items & so many other things. TIA

It amazes me how individuals like you Jennifer, are finding chairs by the roadside, and here where I live, there are people asking $25 a chair for ones like you found, or worse! I think because they know there are individuals wanting them, they think they are foolish enough to pay that price!
We are not allowed to put items like that out for pick-up, we are responsible for getting it to the landfill ourselves.

Little Bit of Calm and Crazy I’m just so shocked that you have so much creativity. I love crafts and have 7 bins/totes/boxes that are full of craft items I just keep buying things but (I’m not great at crafts) *SIGH* it just comes to you. And again that chair is just awesome.
