    My brother had several Pintos and my sister had a Pinto wagon. What was funny was her key worked on my brother's car with a little wiggle but his key did nothing with her wagon.

    Whooooa Nelly! That's layin' paint! I like the color. Reading comments before I commented I see you adjusted your air pressure. When you were having issues with your other airbrushes I was going to ask you what needle size, what pressure and what paint and ratios you were going with. I think the problems with your other airbrushes had more to do with needing to make adjustments than the airbrushes having been bad.

      My biggest problem is I'm a creature of habit. I've used a gravity feed paint gun spraying real cars for over 20 years and that's what I'm comfortable with. I've never been able to make the adjustment to the button on top to spray paint

    You were in the frame pretty much all the time. Looks like that brush works real good. Ron

      Thanks. I put myself under a lot of pressure trying to film that. I don't have much of a mind anyway and then I had to try to think about more than one thing at a time. It's rough, lol!

    Nice job brother,
    I'm still learning how to adjust to spraying also.. Seems like it's a different game every time I paint one and just have to figure it out as I go.. Like that color and looks like it layed down pretty good.. Have a good one 😎👍

      Thanks. That's why I decided to start using car paint. I've sprayed it for 40 years so I kind of know what to expect from it

      @@mayberrymodelmadness5838 Yes Sir I've had 15+ years in paint and body shops but I still have little problem getting 1/25 scale completely figured out. 1:1 Is kinda easier in some ways.. 😎👍

    Air pressure and needle size will effect the amount of paint used. (It looked like it was going on heavy).
    Most trigger airbrushes have a larger needle size so see if you can check it and get a smaller needle. Also, are you using auto paint?

      You got me curious. Went and looked. It's got a .5 needle but the main thing is it said to shoot at 13 lbs air pressure. I had that baby wide open on air. I'll try turning it down next time. Probably didn't help me any but I got it slicked out in the end. Oh yeah. It's Limco basecoat automotive paint.

      @@mayberrymodelmadness5838. You're fine with that needle. One thing about air pressure is you can adjust it to increase, or decrease, the amount of paint you use. As long as the paint is thinned right, you can use that needle too. For 90% of my painting, I use about 15-20 psi. The only time I change it is if the paint company suggest 30 psi or such. (thicker paint. which also means a larger needle)

    • @mayberrymodelmadness5838
      @mayberrymodelmadness5838  2 роки тому

      That was probably on me. I mixed that a little thick because I didn't want to spray 10 coats. I'll find out on the next one. I knew this color was sort of transparent so I under thinned it a little.

    Nice update. Who needs gloves? Like I tell my wife, Real men paint their nails and thumb and hand (as I sit here eating lunch with a gloss black left hand). 😂

    That looks and sprays almost like a real spray gun rather than an airbrush, what is it? I have something similar from harbor freight, maybe I need to get it out again.

    • @mayberrymodelmadness5838
      @mayberrymodelmadness5838  2 роки тому +1

      It's an Iwata Neo TRN2. Apparently I had the air pressure way too high. It says to shoot at 13 lbs. I was at like 40 lbs. We live and learn. Will try lower pressure next shoot.
