I live in a rural area in the US and the guys I jam with are more into C&W and folk . They say that I only need to know two notes to play country. I don't quite buy that but could you please do a similar lesson on country and folk music?

As a beginner I find this very intriguing but can’t yet fully appreciate the benefits. Will gladly revisit in a few months and in the meanwhile just practice the scale and fingering.
