It has been a disaster since we bpought it and it has resulted in terrible experiences with my grandson. Cons: seats are bad, tolerate no more than 20 minutes no places for rod holders unable to place adaptations(seats, rod holders, motor mount). You cannot attach bolts to the top of the kayat to place attachments onto kayat,) The company has poor service, spent 3 hours contacting the company and they were no help in resolving anything Super heavy(75 lbs), need large truck to transport. Unable to drill into kayat per company or you lose your warranty Cost about 200.00 to ship back to company Pro's: You have 30 days to try it and return it to Walmart (my truck was in repair so I had to wait past the 30 day limit and unable to return kayat) Cheap but unable to use Reply
Hey Bill, thanks for your in depth take away. I will respond the best I can. As for truly doing a tandem run on this boat I would not do it personally. In this video I am taking a supposed 2 person boat and converting it fully to 1 person operations for fishing. You can swap the seat as I have shown in this video but it has to be the middle seat. Rod holders can be mounted via a rail system on outer edges. I have done so. As for a motor mount I do not suggest it for this boat. As for the company I don’t know what their customer service is like we purchased this boat off of Facebook marketplace knowing it is a cheap brand and it was bought with experimentation in mind along with nothing to serious. It is a heavy boat for the cost. Never put holes in a boat you don’t plan on keeping…or sinking 😂😂. Cheers buddy and happy yaking

This modification wont work for back seat just middle due to curvature of hull( only flat area of 13.5 width).
Yea that is correct due to the curvature of the boat it is difficult to justify any other mounting location.
