    Great looking knifes! As soon as I get my hands on a pair of those scissors I will do something liek that as well. Just finished my video of a Karambit out of old Scissors and nom I´m totally into experiencing with different kinds of scissors, shears and things like that.

    Great video. I found a pair of those in my barn and I didn't know what they were. I don't have any sheep so a project seems like a cool idea.

    Just imagine...a nice piece of desert ironwood or aged olive and some hand crafted screw heads.
    You do that and the value increases tenfold...
    Just a thought my friend,just a thought.

    Great one! I don't know what it is about shears like that...but I feel guilty doing something to them when I find them. I'm not in sheep country here in the states so maybe I feel that they have a long history from when they were used.

    • @samaker4
      @samaker4  7 років тому +1

      Interesting, I have no emotional attachment to them. I picked up two pairs of them the other day for almost nothing. Now at least this pair have a purpose again.

    • @samaker4
      @samaker4  6 років тому

      Braai wood :) The type is Rooikraans. You bye then in bags at the petrol stations and burn them to barbecue with.

    His work was interesting to me, to the rustic appearance of the tool he added his touch, very well presented. Greetings from Argentina.

      very interesting, it must be an incredible country. Some time ago I saw a documentary about an immense shark that was called "submarine". I also read some books by Wilbur Smith. If you ever travel to Argentina, let me know.

    • @samaker4

      Yes I did. But I made something beautiful out of them. You can still buy these shears in the shops, plus there are a lot of them in junk shops here in South Africa
