I agree. The exhaust does sound more robust on this 2022. I own a 2021 X4M Competition with the performance exhaust which doesn't sound a nice as this 2022. Yes, the X4M ride is way too stiff for the daily ride. Even in the comfort mode.
My son got this one a few months it is A very beautiful car everyone loves it I have the new three series 2020 in the port blue very beautiful color he have the dark blue also very beautiful the new X4 tops in it’s class
Great video I'm in the process of deciding which 2022 to order...I heard the exhaust however it's not the same as being in person...how would you describe in person as far as driving..in reference to the sound of the exhaust?
The m40i exhaust is amazinggg especially on the x3 and x4s. It has more pops and crackles than you would expect especially when you’re in the sporty driving modes. It’s a perfect sound in my opinion. Kinda deep, noticeable, smooth. The cold starts sound great. It’s also one that isn’t super obnoxious, perfect blend of sporty, smooth, and classy.
@@BeamerView Thanks for replying...I saw a couple of videos and I noticed the exhaust wasn't like something from fast and furious but it was distinguishable from a average vehicle which I liked...I don't want a vehicle I see everywhere...I'm in Washington DC...rarely see this vehicle...I will likely order the Msport..to make it more unique...the factory is in South Carolina so my wait won't be long...just sent your video to my wife...I went to the Mercedes dealership to look at their coupe suv...not the same amount of room..I'm 5"7..and I didn't like the space..I will definitely be watching the video again...great video thanks for those videos...
@@askdeefaircommonsense1014 not a problem with that combination at all. If you got beige maybe. If you want to play it even more safe get the siminoz glass coat that protects the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
BMW needs to make the entire interface a touch screen at this point and do away with that screen in the front window and all of those manual buttons. OR make it an upgradable option. That's what Mercedes is doing in a lot of their newer models and it looks 100% better. I do like the overall look of this vehicle though, sexy.

I just bought the 2023 and it feels fine to me. I don’t know if they made a minor tweak in the 2023 . Maybe they should make a comparison.
gotta be the black 2022+ version. Otherwise that back was just too damn flat in previous models lol the redesign helped out a lot
Agreed! The new version has much better aesthetics to it, and the layout on the inside too is easier to use.

Great point. I think they are leaning more than way with the new electric vehicles that are going to be coming out.
This isn’t a Mercedes and they aren’t trying to be nor do they need to be. It looks great like it is. Everyone doesn’t need an iPad in the car.
