Thank you Wimpz for the comment. This was a very hard video for me and for her to do. I wanted it that way, because I wanted her to paint me holding the camera while I was filming. A lot of artists have criticized the painter for doing it the wrong way by having me in her back, but I take all the blame for that. I asked her to do it that way, and she delivered. I had no idea at the time that this video was going to have almost 50,000 views, and so many comments (for and against the video). I have no regrets, and I believe she is an amazing artist. One of the best I have ever seen.

you should go back & see if she is still sketching people on the street & get her do do another one. See the difference a few years makes in her skill.
I have seen her since (over the years, in the same spot), but because of the 2020 pandemic, no one is officially allowed to do that right now on the streets of downtown Chicago.

I'm a painter too! who's baby crying in a video?
This was filmed on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. You can hear a lot of voices of people walking back and forth in the video. Most of them are tourists who are visiting Michigan Avenue to shop and enjoy the view of the skyline from the Chicago river on the Michigan Avenue bridge.

I felt uncomfortable seeing her twisting backwards to observe the model. They should have shown him at the end so we could see the likeness, but the drawing looks good.
She was drawing me, while I was filming her with my camera. You can see my photo in the thumbnail of my UA-cam profile in this comment. I am the one who suggested that she filmed me that way. It was not her fault. I wanted to show the entire process so the viewer can see what I saw. Thank you Deborah for your comment.

You could've actually sat for her and given her a better perspective... It's difficult for rendering subjects when you have to turn your head and translate...

Chris Krzentz Is she comfortable that way?..??? I believe the best perspective is the model and or object that's in front of you with minimal movement and monocular perspective...
Because of the people walking on the left, she only draws that way when she is there. That is with everyone.
