Damaged or broken mirror housings make your car unsightly, but driving with cracked or missing mirror glass can be dangerous, not to mention illegal. Don't risk your safety or run afoul of the law because of the high cost of an OE mirror! Replace side view mirrors are direct replacements for factory originals but cost much less. Thanks for this video! I was able to complete the repair pretty easily thanks to watching this. A tip - when re-positioning the trim piece that has to be (at least partially) removed to access the mirror screws, stand on the other side of the door to better view how it fits on the door frame edge - it's frustrating otherwise. Also -- do NOT push in the center pieces of the panel push clips all the way, thinking if they fall in (they will) you can just get them once the door panel is off -- wellllll, they fall inside the DOOR and they might as well have gone into a black hole. So here's the OEM part number for when you have to buy new ones! WX68DX9AA (fit 2008 Charger and others) :)
@CariD I just need a glass replacement, but my vehicle has the side view mirror turn signal.. I can't find replacement glass anywhere, can you help me out?
i pulled the blicker cable to the headlight blinkers. doesnt conceal much but it works.

Do you happen to know if there is any way to just purchase the mirror cover for a 2007 Chrysler 300 (V6, AWD). All I've been able to find are chrome mirror covers, and I just want a stock/unpainted/black (whatever, just not chrome).
I recently bought a 2007 Chrysler 300, and it was missing the mirror cover, and a wheel cap/cover. I got the wheel cap, but still can't find a decent mirror cover :(

The mirror cover, how do you remove it? My driver side mirror needs to be replaced but the there's nothing wrong with the chrome mirror cover, just curious how you do that?
The mirror covers on my 06 are not aftermarket, OEM. At the end of the video I notice you just snap the painted mirror cover back on, how do you get it off?

CARiD.com there are 3 eletrical connectors; power mirror, blinker and puddle led.i already did the puddle led. really needs help with the blinker cable wire.
