I just needed to swap out broken glass, this video was straight to the point. Showing how the attach points were facing helped in my leverage for prying the glass out. Well done.

Is same for Challenger? For mirror pop-out? We have to paint Challenger mirror. Need mirror to pop from housing. But dont want to break. Hard to see behind with flashlight. Same process?

It is possible that there are different mirrors for the charger? because my looks way different to get off i try your way but seems like my is attached different.... Any help?
From the year 2016 to actual all chargers side mirrors are same. do you noticed there is a double side tape in the center shell making this hard to separate it?
@@5amVinyl i finally got it out but i noticed that it have an other set of cables and they are weld it to the mirror one end is on the top and the other on the bottom so i did some research and i thing that is for defrost i think 🙄

I will google it, it may be for the full mirror but if you want just the shell call your local Dodge parts department they will give you the code for that piece so you can search to buy it online or do wherever you need with the number
What is that cap called? Mine cracked and eventually fell off and they wanna charge 800$ to fix it with labor but I can do it myself just need to find that part
@@Splursy yes it is lots of money for that piece, maybe they want to change the hole side mirror, I don't know how much it cost the hole mirror plus the matching color paint

Yes you are right just peel the double sided tape and push it in please firmly until all edges are snapped in and closed

@@rubenbenitez9616 yes it is, and it is not welded it is just hard to pull, hope you get it off with out problem
If I have power heated mirrors and want to upgrade to the ones with the blind spot icon, will it work or does it need to be programmed?
I don't have idea you may want to ask in a Dodge blog or a specialist

The Dodge dealer may have it as separated piece or they can provide a part number, then you can search for the part online

No the challenger it is a circle base where holds the center of the mirror glass with 8 small clips

What is it doesn't have electronic blind spot signal cables? Just lock it in the clip?
There is heat mirrors wires and the turning signal wires
