Thanks Christine for bringing this gem of a summer festival at Ridgeway!❤👍👍👍👍👍. It really has a bit of everything to keep everyone in such a festive mood. Nice and interesting craft stalls, street performers, pony rides, beautiful collector cars and really inviting cafes, bakeries and even a brewery to keep everyone refreshed and energized! I really like the Christine Hess photography displays. Used to love taking nature photography in my younger days with my Yashica FR1 camera which I still cherish! @@WeGoPlacesTours Maybe I should have been a script writer in my past life (probably will be starving or homeless by now) lol 😂. Yes, I did take amateur pictures of my trips to the falls but very few with the Yashica because that was a SLR camera which would require the old fashion devoloping process and I was living in the UK during those days. Over the years, I turned to other hobbies but kept that camera as it carried such great memories. - I do own basic digital cameras but inspite of all their amazing capabilities, the SLR cameras still have a nostalgic charm that is special, to me at least. The magician was a lot of fun. I am always impressed how performers can entertain a crowd so well. The festival was fun, I enjoyed the live music and seeing the artists.

Really enjoyed the quietness of it all with all the crowd moving through the long road of varied exibits and shops from the funny 'magic' guy to the very lovely and creative artworks and pictures and Gem arrangements, I once wanted to do polishing stones etc and studied it, had a few of my own but never got to buy the equiptment and do it, the car show was great with all those vintage cars from my days and earlier, love that Yellow Bus. a nice day out and now starting, thanks gor the views and lovely walkthrough Christine.

My dad was what you call a RockHound…he did cutting and polishing and had a lot of equipment . Its great they shut the roads for this so people can be relaxed. Interesting that you used to have a crystal business with your dad. Now you have made me want some fruit pie after mentioning it hehe. Great video Christine! Looked like a really nice festival. I enjoyed seeing the old cars. I have always been fascinated by cars that were only made/sold in Canada. That Meteor Montcalm is an example. It was made by Ford/Mercury and only sold in Canada. Pontiac, and I think Chevrolet, also made Canada only models. As a kid, I was always on the lookout for Canada only cars when we visited Niagara Falls. Have a great week! 🙂

Hi Christine, Hope all is well. I just caught the replay of your tour through Ridgeway street festival. It is interesting I actually heard of Christine Hess the Photographer. She is in NOTL and I follow her on IG to. Loved the car show as well and the various automobiles over the years. Thank you for sharing as I always learn something new everytime. 👍. I went through Ridgeway a few years ago however never spent alot of time. We go back from Niagara last night. It was a great stay as always. Welland is a great Town.
