Thank you for making this ❤ I have been thinking about making wet wipes. I have sensitive skin, and those ‘natural’ wipes at retailers can quickly wipe out one's bank account!

Love this. My husband and I don't go camping anymore but we do visit national parks. A couple of weeks ago we went to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone.. these would have been great. I have an idea for you... We used to make soap sheets for camping. You take a piece of copier paper, lay it in a cookie sheet and pour your dish soap over it. Hang it on a line until it is dry and then cut it up into pieces I stored them in Altoids tins.. you can do it with hand soap, shampoo. Loved the video..

@@LittleHillHomesteadGa I know, right.. 🤯 no more.. did I remember to pack the dish soap??? Sometimes you only get a faucet at a campsite, no bathroom or you get an outhouse w/o a sink. Just make an Altoids tin with sanitized hand soap. And you're good. I would love to see your version.

I made my own wipes when my kiddos were little and had diapers and for anything else that needed to be wiped up and cleaned!!! My kids couldn’t handle the store brand wipes……
I need to make more now because I have a grandson now !!!
I love your recipe better!!! So going to make your recipe!!
It’s so economical and better for the body!!!! Thank you 😊

You can also just use reusable cloths with plain water. I just kept a stack of soft muslin cloths on the change table and used warm water to clean their nappy area. Just put them in the washing machine with the nappies if using cloth nappies. Wipes are more convenient though, especially when you're not at home.

Thank you for sharing & giving my mind something else to focus on. I lost contact with my daughter & grandchildren last night. She’s in Western NC on Balsam Mountain. The last thing I got was pics showing the river coming out of its banks flooding into her backyard 😳 & a power pole across the only road off the mountain. The river hasn’t breeched its banks in a hundred years so I’m stressed out. My daughter is smart & she has a tough 4 wheel drive Jeep & she has a wench on it, so I know she’s fine, & we’re not supposed to worry but here I am😞

Add some baking soda instead of oils for sensitive skin.

People with sensitive skin often react to baking soda. You don't need the essential oils or baking soda.

My ababsolute favorite paper towels to use for this are the VIVA cloth like ones. They are st strong, soft & thick~ perfect for these wipes, inho. * Never thought to add rosewater, thanks for sharing that~ great idea, especially w/the coconut oil. I've also used jojoba oil & soap nuts extract too,, back when I made them for baby wipes & didn't know about castile yet. It was the 80's, a lot I didn't know about =) Great idea about making castille too, that will be fun!

I was quite excited after watching this video, so grabbed all of the ingredients and went ahead and made it. I was so disappointed - the paper towel went to mush after 2 minutes, before I could turn it over and add the rest of the liquid. I can only assume that your paper towel was thicker and or longer than the one I used. Mine was 80 sheets of two ply; can you please let me know what type of paper towel you used. Thanks, Chris

Oh no! Mine is a thick one from Costco. Lower the liquid down a little.
