What's happening in France right now may be a solid indicator of what to expect here in the USA during our own elections. Keep prepping for SHTF.
Elections have consequences they say. Unfortunately, preppers and regular people alike are the ones who deal with those consequences. Not the ones who made the problem to begin with. But in order to be as prepared as we can be for any emergency, it's a good idea to try and understand what challenges we may face. And based on what is happening in France right now, we can assume some similar activities might occur here as well. I will be prepared for things to get chaotic after the election and you should be to.

I am French (and American). I would vote LePen (didn't make it to the Chicago consulate). It's a sad state we are in, but having lived there and my family still there, it's been a LONG time coming. However, the outcome will not be pretty.
France has the Olympics this month and recent geopolitical situation brings up the events of the 1972 Olympics. Keep an eye on France.
Chinese troops just arrived in Belarus for two weeks of joint counter terrorism training.
North Korean Troops scheduled to go to Ukraine in support operation rolls.
Because of the 1972 September 7th, Olympics, I had just finished BCT and AIT, and got a 2 week leave that was cut short and ordered back to my last duty station. I was supposed to go to Vietnam, but things changed rapidly that fateful day.
I ended up in Germany because of the Munich Olympics and all the Israelis being murdered.
Then in 1973, October, we loaded up with live ammo and were 2 minutes out from going to Israel's aid. Ww3 was that close.
We even trained for nuclear warfare. Which we all knew what our outcome would be.
Well, I didn't sissy out, like all the cowards did during the Vietnam war. I enlisted knowing what could happen.
I'm retired now. Still can defend myself and yes I'm still a baddass with a lot of forgotten tricks up my sleeve, that many may have forgotten.

PMs are falling in Britain, Presidents and governments on the Verge in France and the USA has a major Election coming with a highly divided populace. Revolutionary time we may be heading into. As with the Ferry Man on, Outlaw Josey Wales, I will learn to sing "The Battle Hym of the Republic and Dixie with equal enthusiasm". To survive being caught in a middle of what ever catastrophic thing comes our way.

All predictable. As I wrote years ago between 2020-2024 would be a huge global economic crisis - China is a paper tiger which the west has build its current house upon. ITS NOT sustainable - added to global warming, housing crisis, world immigration crisis, world infrastructure crisis, the robotic AI crisis all happening at once governments will just fail. THe UK has lost 6 cities htis year. New York is on the verge of collapse. Chicago will fall after.
I prepare for this stuff, people like me are ready for anything....

Speaking of storms, was pleasantly surprised that a tv station in Houston, Texas, actually was telling people how to avoid the impacts of the approaching hurricane. Get your vehicles fueled up before the storm. Get what you need now, don't be out on the road well before the storm. Things like that. Telling people on the coast to get vehicles to higher ground, due to storm surge.
