    Having called the video why power meters are now for the everyday rider, does Not answer this at all, or give the price, which is claimed to be reasonable. It's a 6 min advert saying their great, that's it.

    The question from the video why NOW is the right time to buy a power meter was somwhow not covered.
    Instead, I learned some random things about one particular power meter company.
    I somehow get the impression that you try to trick us. Everything would be fine if you say "hey guys, this is a commercial for 4iii". Be honest with your subscribers and don't try to fool us AND BUY AN ASSIOMA POWER METER, THEY ARE THE BEST FOR THE MONEY according to bike magazines

    Im a fan of 4iiii , I'm using the previous version p2 it was good till the accelerometer went crazy but 4iiii replaced it under warranty for free , no issues, to be fair I think the fault was caused by me ignoring the low battery warning, so there is a tip change the battery asap when you get a low battery warning. The pro version works like an apple airtag too, which is really cool, dont know why they didnt mention it here?

    They managed to get a good price. the issue i see is the clearance between pedal and frame. Such technology shouldnt be limited by how narrow is the distance between frame and pedal. they have to find a way so everyone can buy their product. on a canyon ultimate 2024 model, its simply too tight.

    4iiii power meters work great. It was my first power meter that I got on my old 105 bike.
    Just know, Strava will not pair to 4iiii so you will need to have a computer like a wahoo or garmin.

    I love riding with a power meter. Not a big fan of crank based systems though. I have found Assioma pedals way more flexible, changing easily between my road bikes and gravel bike. Also batteries in 2023??

      I like the "idea" of pedal based power meters to, so you can swap between a few bikes. But the prices are at least double a crank arm set up.
      I reckon I'll go for a crank arm and fit it to my road/gravel bike, which I ride most of the time.
      BTW: Ben Delaney recently commented that STRAVA's estimated power numbers are surprisingly accurate. I'll be interested to see how close it gets.

    • @aluminati9918
      @aluminati9918 Рік тому

      @@BrianRPaterson Thanks for your comment. Yes, I notice in some markets, crank arms are quite favourably priced, well below pedal systems. For me the Favero Assioma pedal system has worked quite well. Through my season I alternate between Campagnolo and Shimano rigged bikes, so for me watt-pedals have been convenient. Your mileage may vary of course. Enjoy your ride!

    Have you done any independent tests to measure the accuracy claims from this company to back up your statement “accurately measuring your cycling power”? GPLama did and it didn’t end well.
    I’m genuinely interested to hear what you have to say as I had been considering a 4iiii power meter until I watched his video - which is now almost a year old, so perhaps you have some fresh insights?

      Hi AlbaTech - We always test our power meters against a known turbo trainer to determine their accuracy with known drivetrain losses etc. Just like GPLama we did experience some anomolies when the Precision 3 was first launched but since a software update have experienced no issues
