Thank you this is a great vlog and truly informative. We have a trip planned for next year and now I know what I can't take and what I don't need to take. Thank you
We will be at shades for our first visit June 23-30. It is also our first visit to Disney. Thanks for all of the information y’all share. It is very helpful.
Great tips! The only one i beg to differ on is the bringing of coats. We are from Illinois, and spend most New Year's weeks in WDW. Since we drive, we have our coats with us. We are often happy to have them. Even gloves! If flying, maybe pack a few layers to mix and match, so as not to take up as much suitcase space. A rolled up fleece is pretty compact. We find rolling everything saves on space. Thanks for another fun and informative video!
Fair enough! 😉 Maybe we have just been lucky with mild weather every time…hoodies have always been perfect but I guess there could be a few occasions where something more would be nice. I’m a roller too! I swear by rolling when packing! Glad you enjoyed this one 🥰 Thanks so much!!!
Oh that sounds terrible!! Are you in Texas? I have some friends that are going through the same thing. 😮💨 I hope you get some AC relief asap! Glad to hear we could help with some laughs 😆
@@battlegroundbiscuits It’s NOT super fun😂but we are trying to make the best of it. We are in Oklahoma. They are hoping to have it back on in our area by Friday. Thank you!
Yes, you can bring your own! Keep in mind that only the service member (or spouse) can purchase the alcohol inside the exchange. Sponsored guests would not be able to make the purchase. But it is tax free in there of course and they have a HUGE variety of wines, liquor and beer. But again, yes you may bring yours onto property.
There are a few options that we can recommend just based off of word of mouth (but we don’t have personal experience with so take that with a grain of salt) But many people use Uber/Lyft or a taxi service. There are also things like MEARS connect, Tiffany Town car, Sunstate transportation, Cast and Crew Transportation, etc…There are several airport shuttle services but these are some that are commonly suggested.
The reason credit card companies don’t care if you close cards and open new ones is because they don’t think many will do it because it causes hits to your credit score for doing both. They also just want you to use their cards no matter how that happens because they know they’ll eventually make plenty of money off most people on all the interest when they don’t pay off their balances in full.
That makes complete sense...which is all more reason to be smart with credit cards to begin with and understand (and budget for) those expenses before making those big purchases. Thank you for adding clarity to that conversation!
I agree, everyone we met at SOG and Hale Koa, too, were just Brothers and Sisters in Arms. Active, retired or on a disability. Great teams to be around. I'll give you my opinion on Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in March 2024 when we get back:)
@battlegroundbiscuits Thank you:) We had a fantastic time. From the minute we checked in until the minute we checked out, we felt welcomed. Plus, the staff was amazing, and we were around other military families from all over the world. We're definitely staying there again:)
You guys are so funny 🤣! 💕

Great video, thanks
You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching ☺️

I agree with leaving your pay grade at home. Miss me with the entitled behavior some have throwing their rank around on others.
Thank you for the laughs and information. This came at the perfect time! We are in the middle of a widespread power outage and it’s HOT🥵

Where does a person find an automatic refillable towel cabinet 😂😂 I need one of those for my house 😊 … and come on 12 more subs !!!
Right?! While we are refilling towels can our closets just refill too? The day I don’t have any more laundry would be historical in our house lol 🥳🥳🥳
Awesome that they have an exchange! But regardless, can you bring your own alcohol to SOG?

I know you take your truck to SoG, but how do most get from the airport to SoG? We will be flying in.
