You sir are a legend, we met after providence N2 and I couldn't help but thank you for all your videos then, and have to again now, this jibboo always slips through my mental cracks but is so damn tight, thank you all the work you do!!!
This is one of the greatest audience videos I've ever seen. Perfectly framed just the right amount of zoom, beautiful colors, perfect crowd audio. You couldn't make a better video of phish.
ah man, that moment at 9:14! I relisten to this jibboo often because of just that moment. completely blew me away when it happened (was 4 rows behind fish!)
Everyone is adding their time stamp of fav moment in this jam. For me it’s around 10:00 - that’s when the jam shifts to the major motif that leads to the climax. Very chill jam. For me one of the best jibboos. Noodles but still goes somewhere. Nice major minor major shifts. Solid phrasing from Trey but not overly dominant / solid band interplay
This jam is absolutely incredible! It's unfortunate that not everyone gets it...so glad that I have been on this oddesey with them for so many years...this type of musical chemistry only comes around once every lifetime! So glad to be part of it! 😂
The jams - notably this one - are now futuristic alien music from a distant post-apocalyptic ocean moons festival and waaaayyyyy out ahead of the current state of the Big Bang.
I took last year off from Phish and never really went back to listen to anything until a couple weeks ago (prep for the Gorge). I've been so impressed with everything I've listened to, especially Trey's playing. Tone is fantastic. Super fluid, nimble, loose, confident, assured, patient-- it's nice to see him this comfortable to be out in front playing notes for this long, finding good riffs to hang on before continuing down the road, ultimately building this towards a nice conclusion Phish sounds great, Trey sounds incredible, imo.
The Lights and Sound are the Best at MSG, thanks for the video😎! Great Audience recording. Love the in and out of lights, Breathing like the Arena Bobs, up and down. Always a fun time in NY
When you sellout to Baphomet during Halloween 1989...Trey's lovely costume... Phish - Bathtub Gin - 1989-10-31 - Goddard College, Plainfield, VT ua-cam.com/video/OIKAGV6AfaI/v-deo.html Just know that Satan(Icculus) will devour Trey's soul just like everybody else that chooses the "sellout" road...it seems like the only way you can work for Wilson is to sellout to Iccuslus first the way Icculus uses human beings is disturbing but so many Lizards fall for the carrot on the stick. and it's sad...being a Lizard that's awake. that understands that Wilson/The Government, the entertainment industry, uses Axilla(both parts of the spell to mind control you...get them comfortable/ bury them in a ditch) to mind control the subconscious mind of the Lizards...to lead them off the edge keeping them entertained while the rights of Lizards disappear within the "Steam". The Divided Sky is among us and hopefully more Lizards recognize what's going on and wake the fuck up before it's "worship Iccuclus or Die time"....The ACDC bag may be lingering but we still have time and Satan/Icculus willl never have my soul. This one has stuck in my head since exiting the Garden that night. Easily one of my favorite Type I Bliss jams, and we somehow managed to get 15 of my homies in one place (unheard of for YEMSG, no we did not tarp) which made this one even juicier. Bring on Watkins baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
SICK! Thank you LL. Musically speaking there have been stronger jibboos IMO (See 2/20/03; 7/29/03). This jibboo is also great musically in a simpler way - but what makes it so special and perhaps legendary is the vibe in that room during this jam - every member of the band was completely locked in with each other and with the audience. Unforgettable groove perfectly captured by this video. Keep em coming! How bout that fluff head ??
Top 2 Jibboos of all time - the pacing, multiple peaks, musical interplay in between - this one has it all!

I mean, unreal. Top 3 all time. easily
One of the best Jiboos ever. Beautiful ascendant jam which builds on itself beautifully
Jonathan Liss try this one out! ua-cam.com/video/NvBxmBVQ_O0/v-deo.html
It just keeps giving and giving and going somewhere... that's quintessential Phish.

It is good! I like it because you can see the lighting.

LONG LIVE THE PHISH! FROM VERMONT!
11:38 - 12:08 = without a doubt some of the best 30 seconds of music they have ever played.
The jams - notably this one - are now futuristic alien music from a distant post-apocalyptic ocean moons festival and waaaayyyyy out ahead of the current state of the Big Bang.
Is that Ginsburg

glorious peak, then soft landing back to earth, bravo !!!
Not a lot of fireworks, but what a beautiful groove that I wish was about 3 hours longer...
