I am sad that I missed the auction. Hope it went well. The contents of the books brought back memories of my youth. When I was young my mom would put yarn bow's in my hair and I had forgotten about it till I saw your tassels as it was the type of yarn she would use. Thank you for the memories.

I am with you on all counts lol winter baby so love snow hate summer, love both color ways and lots of snow!!! These are awesome and wish I could have gotten my hands on one but didn’t happen....my hubbie and I got married Dec 1st his b-day the 8th and mine 21st....busy month:):) TFS you did an amazing job and thankful for all the help you give on places to find goodies for journals as well as which books are the best!

Hi! I absolutely LOVE your Christmas journals! They embody all my fondest Christmas memories from my childhood in the late 60s- early 70s. Because of you and other wonderful JJ crafters on UA-cam, I have begun crafting journals myself and am having a great time with it. Could you please tell me what home printer you use to get such crisp images and great color? Thanks and have a lovely holiday season!
Hi Lisa Marie!! Welcome to the world of junk journaling! It is so wonderful, isn't it?! You know what my secret is to crisp images and color? It's the paper, not the printer!! I have a relatively inexpensive brother brand printer and when I switched from what was good quality cardstock (Hammermill) to matte photo paper, it made all the difference!! I like Staples Ultra Premium Matte Photo Paper. I get it on Amazon. It's not cheap. It's like 25 cents per sheet, whereas cardstock is like 5 cents a sheet. But when you want your images to look really high quality, it does make a difference!
Also! I have a Facebook group called Kittywitty Junk Journalers if you'd like to learn more about the making of junk journals and connect with other like-minded people! I am planning to have some online courses next year teaching how to make junk journals and this group is a great preparation in background knowledge for the courses. Would love to have you!!

Hi! Well, this channel was part of my craft business and I had to mostly let that business go and I unfortunately have not had time to craft, even as a hobby. Needing to get a "real job" has prevented me from being able to make anything, make videos, etc. 😔😔😔
