Nature videos are not Hollywood movies. They don’t need background music. Just let natural sounds do the job. If nature is silent, let it be. Let’s not pollute it with our noise. Thank you.
I agree. You’d have to tell that to pbs however , as they actually are the rightful producers of this film that was released approx 10 years ago. These random people on UA-cam that post these vids are simply sharing already existing films that that have no remote connection to whatsoever. They have no ownership and have no actual involvement whatsoever jn any of the already existing films they upload , even despite the fact so many of the people that try to post such films also try to selfishly exploit the films for wrongful profit , they also often try to act as if they have anything tk do with production or any rights to these videos. Look at channels like for example , free documentaries nature or whatever thejr other two channels are with similar names , as well as secret nature documentaries if I remember the channel name , those channels try to pretend they’re affiliated or had any remote thing to do with the vids they plaster on here. Making up ridiculous descriptions they post and changing names / titles of films to try and avoid copyright fraud … it’s nice when some folks at least just post content and aren’t trying to benefit off what doesn’t belong to them. I wholeheartedly ageee with you bout the annoying music in vids. David Attenborough has become unfortunately , among any of the recent years work he especially did for Netflix , as well as the bbc , notorious for allowing loud over the top music to not only ruin wonderful films but also to interrupt entire narrative , when not also promoting such politically charged propaganda, where it once was about the wildlfie being showcased but now only doom and gloom … don’t get me wrong , there’s definitely issues occurring that have been for many years, even decades but none of Those so called influential people/ entities ever addres the real problem at the source. They try to make the masses feel to Blame and try to create fear and chaos among us when never do they address the people at the center and the dirty politicians and corrupt people among them at the core of all the destruction of resources and wildlfie. Attenborough is worth over 400 million dollars …. The WWF has been sure to pay out all these scandalous corrupt people rather than allocating funds to do any of the so called saving the world they claim to try and do with all the ridiculous money they get off everyone among us all .. it’s never that they get to the root of the issue and call thst out and promote change and discipline … nope , only same issues as usual…
The Climate Waits for No One Thirty years ago, a friend of mine got into the green energy business and tried to pull me into it. I asked him what for, it isn’t serious. He said, “You have no idea how much money is being poured into it. Everyone wants in on it, politicians, financiers, businesspeople, the lot.” He was right, of course. Yet, no one wants to promote green energy in order to save the planet, but only to swell up their pockets even more. The declarations, therefore, remain in the assembly hall where they are stated, necessary actions are ignored, and the climate waits for no one: It will keep deteriorating. This week in Glasgow, Scotland, the 26th UN Climate Change Conference is taking place. Officially, it aims to “bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.” In reality, the countries plan to do the exact opposite. This year’s UN Production Gap Report, which tracks the discrepancy between governments’ planned fossil fuel production and actual global production levels, states the following: “Despite increased climate ambitions and net-zero commitments, governments still plan to produce more than double the amount of fossil fuels in 2030 than what would be consistent with limiting global warming to 1.5°C [2.7°F].” Energy sources and technologies do change, but not according to what is best for the planet. It changes according to the interests of politicians and money moguls, and it never benefits the planet or the majority of its inhabitants, namely all of us. Since the climate waits for no one, eventually, it will catch up with us. Earth is a closed system, and in a closed system, there are consequences to exploitation: it hurts the abuser as well as the abused. I don’t know when or at what cost, but eventually, we will all have to realize that we cannot take beyond what we need. We cannot keep exploiting Earth selfishly and thoughtlessly because it will turn against us. Earth is like a submarine: there is only so much oxygen on board. If some crew members take more than their quota, the rest will not have enough, they will die, and the submarine will sink along with those who exceeded their quota. We need constant reminders that we are one system, and we are all dependent on each other. We need to genuinely grasp that selfishness hurts us just as being exploitative hurts others. If we constantly remind ourselves that we are interdependent, we will behave with more consideration, and we will avoid the punitive impact of climate change. The other option is to keep working as the UN’s Production Gap Report states that we are planning to work, and suffer nature’s unforgiving response. I hope we wise up in time because everyone will pay the price for this mistake.
This documentary has Bn a wonderful video still looking brand new today with the lovely footage and quality, Where yeah it may be 10 years Old since pbs produced it, but in todays tech world, that’s a lot of time gone by 😂. I always recognize this narrator by voice too haha. I’m so glad to see this lovely recording being shared and hope to enjoy many many more lovely WILDLIFE NARRATED DOCUMENTARIES!!! They’re my FAVORITE and also happen to be the only content besides sounds of snow or rain , ocean or under water sounds for sleeping/ white noise sounds being the only content that I watch or use this site to view , so thank you for sharing this lovely documentary! I honestly Can say it’s getting harder and harder for me to find any documentaries of wildlife/ nature that I’ve either not seen so many times already or at least haven’t seen very f recently… what I prefer and especially like to see/ enjoy is finding content that’s1) narrated only by the one person providing voice over only- can’t stand documentaries that constantly have multiple people having to provide whatever commentary, they usually only echo/ repeat same info the narrator has said or could’ve easily said without whichever people having to interrupt the lovely footage And interesting info , just to give them whatever camera time and attention as really , though with some media I’d never be bothered by certain “‘expert commentaries”’, with anything including wildlife/ nature i just care to view and enjoy the wildlife Only .2) I can’t stand content including such loud or intrusive/ annoying music during , especially among those who allow it to loudly play even over the narrative , making it hard to hear & 3) can’t deal with content that has such horrible narration by someone either that exhibits such fake or dramatic or inauthentic narration , with either people having no actual broadcasting experience or voice for narration , or those typical run into the ground Attempts at whomever narrating trying to come across whsn reading the script , where they often have vids produced by whatever token British accent , male or female , having almost like defects linguistically , like that of some bad cockney traits, people who can’t pronounce r or w sounds , those who sound abrasive or monotone , lacking any natural lifts and falls vocally , there’s some dude that’s done a lot of docs over the years that cannot pronounce r’s that constantly sssms to get work and when I hear him , I instantly cannot watch the vid , as it ruins it and dude trying to pronounce words like “ current “ for example , but overcompensating and saying it as phonetically as ur would sound like “ coah- -whahnt “ emphasis on both syllables 😂 just for example but where I’ve spend more time trying to interpret what the dude would be saying , than being able to even follow the vid , it’s been a ruined experience and not that I’d ever make fun of anyone for such impediments, still it’s not conducive for anyone trying to narrate a film , which should only have authentically , one with a voice / speaking quality for such work … if I wouldn’t get a job being an interpreter for say , sign language , as I’d lack the bulk of being able to use correctly , sign language, why would someone narrate vids that can’t even be understood and has to try and compensate for the speech issues but still can’t be hardly understood? Not that whomever that dude was wasn’t intelligent or knowledgeable, he just hasn’t been suited for providing script for docs … even though in this video here , we have a British accent of the narrator , while I’ve never cared for how British accents pronounce certain words and use certain inflections , this man at least providing narrative is professionally equipped and capable & does a decent job… I never enjoy those vids either that Tend to have some monotonous , young sounding / almost like barely adjusted to pubescents type sounding voice some British narrators will Have , nor when producers or networks have whatever random celebrity try to read script that one would think could just read a script and be authentic sounding. After all Isn’t that what all those so-called actors do 😂? For me , only type of content I wanna see and hear is inclusive of one well equipped narrator delivering voice over , no annoying loud music , no interruptions for human commentary or what should be remaining “ behind scenes “ footage for a reason , no badly done narration and for sake of vids of already existing documentaries that are only even belonging to the rightful owners / producers / networks that own the rights and have provided the work and effort in creating the content and are the only actual ones having permission to Truly allow such films to be viewed on sites like this, as so many channels take these existing vids and try to act as if they’re in any way connected with those who actually did make these films , those selfish people exploit these films and profit wrongly and selfishly and lie and deceptively alter vids only trying to change titles and make up whatever fake ridiculous descriptions that They try to plaster on their random channel that They try to act as if they’re somehow some * group of professional people having anything to actually do with these films they exploit selfishly. Anyway BIG THANK U to whomever is uploading these wonderful videos, please keep up the honest decent attributes of simply sharing lovely content , without trying to exploit such films !!! It’s especially great to have lovely content for educational purposes/ entertaiment , but still important for anyone who does try to share these works to not try and benefit off things they’re dishonestly trying to benefit off of. I very much hope to be able to enjoy much more of these lovely films. Please keep sharing wherever able. Thank You and Sorry to comment at such length 😂! Looking forward to more wonderful content ! Take care & God bless u and all who venture here to enjoy !!!
Seamounts are (or were) great places to see many of the larger pelagic species and whales. The upwelling of plankton rich water coming up from the deep starts of the food chain. Unfortunately the commercial fisherman boats and trawlers are attracted to them to for the good fishing. Some are protected, like a few in the Galapagos, many are not, and therefore overfished. I've been scuba diving 45 years, sadly, many of the mounts and reefs are now deserts in sea life compared to what they were like years ago.

How do they know she's afraid she will drown? I always wonder how they know how the animals FEEL.🤷♀️
Alot of time you can see the fear in most animals. Including humans. Fear is pretty universal lol
@@MrKhankab good point ✌️
In reality it’s the old fight or flee in another form . A calculated risk for survival
I get you like everything alive fears death but to assume it grasps the concept of drowning and fears it is something different
