- Devil May Cry 1’s Platinum was easily the TOUGHEST platinum we’ve gotten on the channel so far…
I hope you enjoyed watching me suffer through Dante Must Die mode and if you did please join me on my mission to obtain all the platinum trophies in the DMC Series because why save my sanity and stop at one?
Oh my god 3 videos in a month?! The videos have ended up shorter than expected recently + I’ve had quite a few already filmed waiting to be edited by me so I would say don’t expect it all the time but there’s definitely more to come next month or potentially one more this month!

I hated the skull hopper secret mission
But holding the target button helps by kinda (not 100%) stabilizing Dante’s forward movement midair withought making him move to the sides much

DMC 5 took me a toe curling 3 months to platinum. I’m not talking - occasionally picking up the controller - but a concerted and consistent effort. Very tough. There is a move we’re you can summon a large meteor which can help with the Hell play through.
I’ll keep that tip in mind for when I go for it soon, thanks 💪
I would need to farm normal mode before even retrying hard. Just normal was kicking my ass. I can't imagine dmd mode 😨. I didn't even know you could grind normal or hard for upgrades and items, since it seemed to just boot me into a fresh hard playthrough.
Nice job man👍This was my first platinum of my year and it was challenging. I didn't realized that grinding items for the dmd mode would be useful so I had to do it the hard way😅
Thanks, yeah it was a tough one for sure but doing that extra normal mode playthrough to buy and collect items came in clutch 😆
I’ve done DMC 2 and 3 and just need to edit those videos but am currently doing S ranks on 4 right now but 4 is probably the hardest so far

@@Joseph_Prado2 was it really? I just 100% 1, 3 and im just doing my first playthrough of the 2nd game, the other ones were pretty intense so I really hope you're right, also going after 4 and 5 once im through the HD Collection

@@RadTuba03yeah it will be kinda tough since its cores are already green I gotta learn how to do lots of damage with fewer hits, I'm sure I'll get it done someday tho and will let you know when I do
Oh yeah mine were green by then too, just use ifrit and do the hold triangle attacks on them they do good damage whilst doing less hits overall

Good luck on this Journey, the worst one is DMC4 by far imo. Plus you will be surprised how decent the reboot actually is.
Oh yeah I’m nearing the end of my DMC 4 journey and have just completed mission 13/14 on DMD S ranked which was draining. Definitely the hardest at least so far…

I never got the chance to unlock all the files, how do you do it?
Some of them are rare on normal difficulties so you have to get them on higher difficulties and a few of those are “kill moves” on Dante so for example, one is a blade killing you underwater with a melee attack which I unlocked after my first playthrough in the video. I couldn’t get them all on my first playthrough because I wasn’t allowed to use yellow orbs. 😁

Hey do you have any tips for Dmd. It's my last trophy before the platinum
Do a normal playthrough or 2 as prep. What I mean by that is use those playthroughs to collect and buy as many items such as vital stars as you can as in DMC 1 you do not need DMD Mode S-ranks for the platinum. Good luck 😁

How did you get the read you like a book trophy? I'm stuck on paragraph 12 of Sin Scythe and I can't for the life of me do this.I try the shotgun, Ebony and Ivory and he dies with one shot but the trophy doesn't come
Some of them are practically impossible to get on lower difficulties so it could be that. I think paragraph 12 you need to get a critical hit with the shotgun after you stun them by hitting the scythe with the sword and to get the crit you need to shoot their mask so you may need to move a little bit after stunning them to hit the mask itself.
@@RadTuba03Is it easier to do this on Normal in the coliseum mission or on Hard in mission 2 where you fight Shadow?
I’d say try at the coliseum but if that doesn’t work after a while then don’t stress and just try again on your hard playthrough and you can always die to reset the enemies I guess to keep attempting you just have to endure you shoot the mask so you may have to move around to hit it.

Am i the only person who had fun playing dmc reboot?
I did the reboot platinum recently and actually really enjoyed the gameplay. The story wasn’t the best but in these games it is the gameplay that matters the most.
how are you getting ps5 trophy popups isn't it a ps2 game?
Devil May Cry: HD Collection was released on ps3 then re-released on ps4 in 2018 I believe. So it’s a HD remaster 😁

Dmc2’s platinum isnt hard at all,just very very tedious.
Yeah I know I’ve already got that and 3 at the point of uploading this. 2 was very boring, 3 was really good. On 4 rn doing s ranks and some of those secret missions were tough

As of right now I agree and to be honest I can’t see 5 being much harder at all but we’ll see if my opinion changes when that video comes out 😂

@Oblivion149 DMC 2 platinum is up right now. On the EU version which I have there’s a ‘workaround’ you could say for bloody palace to avoid that grind.
