Let’s not forget that every single character in Wild Rift has changing facial expressions. It makes each Champion look so much more ‘alive’ compared to the Heroes in MLBB.
The only skin I know of in ML that has changing facial expressions is the Ruby epic skin, and tbh it’s creepy asf lol.

I think we all know that Mobile Legends was created as a cash grab because they were among the first Mobile moba experiences to come out for your phone. They held the top spot in the global monopoly, even while games like AOV and Vain Glory were on the scene. Now that Wild Rift is coming out, they’ll either have to step up their game in both quality and affordability or be left in the dust. The comparisons between the two games are too jarring to ignore. That’s why I hope they bring Wild Rift to North America sooner than their spring estimate. Politics be damned. I want my KDA girls.

When Moonton tries to up their game,its mostly a feature that they copied off League and call it "Smart" something or "Speed" something
"normal" skins in ml basically is just the default skin but with different color. But "normal" skins in wr not only changes the color, but also the overall design of the hero too.

The thing is that when WR finally is launched for every region they'll more than likely implement the reward system that they have on lol pc, where you can get lootboxes if your teammates constantly give you honor or if you have good performances during game. I have like 15 skins for champs that were random gifts from the game (including legendary expensive skins) for just playing lmfao. I've also gotten skins for wards, free emotes and champions to play without having to save exp points to unlock them.
Thats how they get you to play. Lol invests in its players not to ever be bored or feel like without spending money you cant access their content. If you play a lot, you get a lot.

Because ML in-game theres no comparison since the effect like when u killed a hero and recall are sold separately with the skin, unlike LOLWR (except Legend skin which is cost alot, too). For skin intro, well, yeah some skin are cool.

Comparing WR skins to ML skins is like comparing Avengers: End Game to a chinese rip off of Kungfu Panda.
This is out of context, but in my opinion Avengers Endgame is bit overrated. Still much better than Kungfu Panda ripoff tho so valid point here.

Indeed, wild rift (after receiving all the front loaded newbie benefits) would require you to long grind in order to afford a champ, with just 15 motes per match and champs priced at 5.5k motes, it is nearly impossible to be able to obtain a new champ within two weeks, requiring 370+ matches, tho including the rewards you receive from additional tasks and quests would make it somewhere equivalent 280matches to reach that amount.
While ml, requires 160+ average matches to reach the 32kbp amount, scales along with credit and those daily extra bp cards. The 10k bp limit would mean you'd gain 30k bp per 3 weeks and be able to afford the hero in 3 weeks.

To be objective, the skins do not alter the gameplay, it is simply something visual that someone wants to see in their main hero.
The difference between Wild rift and ML in this aspect is: Wild rift skins are very easy to get, mainly the most "expensive" skins, while in ML the epic and legendary skins are really difficult to get and if you want them you need to pay at least 100 dollars in a box.
So, wild rift: Nice skins at very low prices (compared to ML and most games)
Mobile legends: Nice skins too, but that have an added value that is invisible and is called "exclusivity", having an epic skin in ML it means having a skin that few people will have, and that adds extra value.

Yes also me. I transfer from MLBB to Wildrift. Well because of pandemic i can't buy it. Its not about skins why i transfer to wildrift. I transfer because Wildrift is better in gameplay which is i like complex once. I transfer because i realized that MLBB copied LoL because LoL was founded in 2009 because i heard about LoL when i was 13 years old(year 2015) when i was not interested in MOBA. Why i realized that MLBB copied LoL because the first gen MLBB maps and skills are pretty similar to them.

If I recall, mobile legends skins do give you some stat boosts, but for league of legends they don't have that system, all the skins are purely cosmetic and they don't give you an advantage one way or another.

So even if ml copied LoL, they would be copying the game that LoL copied, we also don't know if ml specifically copied LoL or other moba games like dota (dota came before LoL, not dota 2)

Even the basic skins in Wild Rift has some slight changes to the skill effects unlike ML who basically just changes the color of their costume and the skill effects are the same as the default one.

If they make the skins cheaper, then the people who have already bought skins are going to get cheated on. Even if we assume that they will have some sort of refund, its still not a good idea, so having overpriced skins to begin with is just not a smart move for Moonton. I think the reason why ml skins is so expensive is because ml loose the lawsuit and have to pay 2 million USD to riot. And they are releasing expensive skins ro compensate for the money they lost in the lawsuit.
