FSU Law Professor Dan Markel was shot by a hitman on 7/18/2014 in Tallahassee. There were no arrests until the hitman Sigfredo Garcia was arrested in May 2016. Markel's ex-wife Wendi Adelson, her brother Charlie, and her parents were all suspected in the murder for hire. Charlie Adelson's phone was wiretapped during spring 2016. This is one of many calls that have been released as public records. Charlie Adelson was convicted for his role in Markel's Murder on 11/6/2023 and is serving a life sentence; he is appealing. Donna Adelson is currently in jail, awaiting trial, which will start in September 2024. Wendi Adelson has been named as a co-conspirator by the State, but has not been charged.
I hope the Japanese born Pharmacist is able to hear this recording and how she was talked about like livestock between Charlie and his buddy.
Super creep. If June heard this and still covered for him in court, that’s sad.
He goes from a playboy lifestyle to now being extorted for packs of chicken flavored ramen noodles by gangbangers in prison.

To Ryan's defense, i think his words were that Charlie did not operate an illegal steroid business. Picking up stuff for people you know once in a while is not really "selling steroids". Well, maybe for LE it is.. but I hooked up friends for weed many times or picked some up for them from time to time, and i never considered i was in the weed business or "selling weed" per say.

One thing that stood out to me is how shallow Charlie is regarding children.
When his buddy mentioned a new girl he immediately asked how old her kid was, then stated his hesitation to even bother with a mom type.
Yet he was involved with Katie a mother of two.
I’m sure Charlie has a lot to think about now that he’s serving a lifetime prison sentence with no parole.

Charlie's favorite thing to do on I-95 was take his Ferrari and try to ride it up the butt end of your car to get you to move out of the way. He did that to me twice and I never moved. Now it appears people are going to be riding up his butt.
