  • This video is the secret to perfectly level plywood subfloors: DIY plywood and concrete method. After watching this video you can understand how to make a subfloor levelling with plywood and concrete self-levelling floor compound. In this particular example, I saved for customers 23 bags of self-leveling compound which is equivalent to around $2000 including labour and material!

I did something similar in my restroom using 3/4 and 1/2 inch plywood to level some of it out before using self-leveling cement. Though of the idea myself and now that I saw your video I feel comfortable knowing I did the right thing. I had about a 5/8 in slope over 4 feet. and didnt want to weight it down too much with only self-leveling cement to fill.

I have 1" difference on my floor and probably have to do this kind of leveling. I still will try to sand down at least 1/4" on high spots then use plywood and self-leveling compound. Questions: did some of leveling compound went under plywood? Can you put nail-down 3/4" HWF planks on that? I am afraid cement will crumble from the penetrating nails and staples and will create specific noise when you walk the floor. Suggestion: slow down camera on staff you are using (primer, compound) so we can see it (you listed everything in description but seeing labels very helpful). Thank you very much! You are great help!

    • @MrYoucandoityourself

    • @MrYoucandoityourself

Самая дешёвая установка - это плавающий пол, затем идёт nail down, следующий по цене nail down with glue, ну и дороже всего glue down, потому-то клей не дешев и работа подороже. Для Nail down многие установщики пол не выравнивают, иногда подкладывают в ямки фанеру и всё. Я это видел много раз, потому что гвозди притягивают борта хорошо к subfloor. Теперь надеюсь ответил?

Just pay somebody. You try that yourself you're going to get very frustrated. Save the money and pay or you'll be like most people who work on houses who have there own house that's not yet finished
