Kramer - Smoke - Drink w/Blooper

- My favorite Kramer moment in the entire series, and the blooper to go with it. These videos are the property of whoever owns them, not me. Thanks to Michael Richards and John Kapelos for the laughs! How did Kapelos hold it together?
This should have been in the actual show, who cares if he spilled a little its the perfect capture of who Kramer is.
The shots too long and the camera angle really bad.
@@therealoinjman Yeah but we all laughed our asses off anyway!
Kramer>camera angles.
And that was a full mug! Haha the burp and everything just classic
@@hamnchee this. the blooper was way better lol
@@adamkedrowski7901 The actual scene in the show the mug had less. I guess that was so he wouldn't burp. He had to be buzzed after that first take. LOL
That bloke deserves an Oscar for not laughing
You know that's the janitor from The Breakfast Club, Dino from Weird Science and the groom from Sixteen Candles?
Kramer has so much talent!
Right?!😂 I wouldn’t even want to play poker with the guy. He would always have a straight face like 😐, while I’d be trying to figure out his hand like 🤨
@@Adam-jq6xl “I am the eyes and ears of this institution”
thinking the same thing. I would have fallen down laughing.
“That’s a damn good beer, huh? YEE-HA!!” 😂🤣
A buddy of mine and I used to quote that when running into each other at a bar.
@@matthillegas3099 that’s so cool😂
@@hamada9792 Life is fun
Could have gone with a "Giddy up"
Hi I’m John and I’m an alcoholic
One of many cases where the blooper is better than the final product
its one of the best scenes in Seinfeld, its fine the way it is.
Eric Clark | Love your profile picture
that laugh at the end XD
Joseph Bastidas pretty much every blooper from always sunny. They just break so much they can’t use the funniest takes
“Here’s to feeling good all the time heh”
Such a great line and so perfectly delivered by Michael Richards.
love it
the blooper where he burps after is better than the televised version
blooper 10x funnier
I agree. the belch is awesome.
guguigugu Absolutely. Maybe if not for the little spillage at the start they would have used it. The burp is gold
no way in hell this is better.
Nah
Nah blooper is not as good as the final cut
The blooper would've made that scene perfect. Even the holler he did after saying, "What a damn good beer!" Just the belch with the smoke made me laugh so hard I couldn't stop laughing.
Yeah but the "that's a damn good beer" and yelp is out of character; and the yelp is too loud. Not sure they could quiet just that without quieting other audio without an awkward audio shift. Plus him putting his hand out under the beer then moving it back from out from under detracts away from looking at his face while drinking the beer. Your eyes shift multiple times from that to his face. They want you to be purely focused and staring at him drinking the beer. It's easy for people to say "use what's more funny," but that's actually logistically flawed. Yes, often the bloopers are funnier but if you just had episodes with multiples of these blooper scenes integrated, it would offset the flow of the episode and take away from the believability of it. You'd start to focus too much on the acting performances. They have blooper reels though so ya know, you can still watch the scenes...I don't think people actually understand the logistics behind filming a sitcom and that even though it may be counterintuitive, they can't always just use what gets stronger laughs.
@@jhaz89 interesting comment, every time I see bloopers/deleted scenes I'm like why don't they just use the most ridiculous scene they have?? But that's a decent explanation you gave there, it's more the perspective of someone producing a show and not someone watching. I guess back then when they intended this to be in the episode for a few seconds it had to look best, just for those few seconds. If you have it as a short clip that can be replayed endless, it's a whole different story. So when we see it as short clips we'd prefer the most outrageous one, but within the episode and the context it might not fit in well with the on-point "perfect" rest of the acting. It starts to make sense why stuff like this is left out.
"I've been known to drink a beer or two..."
Me trying to be hip with the youngsters
I love how it's a running gag that no one ever seems to notice Kramer falling or being bonked on the head
I seen this blooper for the first time like 7 years ago and i still to this day cant understand why they didnt use the blooper scene instead of the one they used it was so so so so much funnier and no one broke character so it was usuable. Even the accountant kept a pretty cool face , which i dont know how he did, so there was no reason not to use it
He forgot his lines after drinking the beer. But still, they could have used it with a little bit of editing.
I have no idea how that guy kept a straight face. I'd be biting my lower lip so much I'd get gangrene.
I like how the blooper was a full beer and the one that they used was a mug full of foam
MadroxMonoxide777 because they didn't want another blooper
yeah lets use the one where hes chugging the beer with his hand under his chin catching some drops that spilled over the glass when he started to drink
Woah that blooper was hilarious. I wish that made it into the show 😂
"Here's to Feeling Good All The Time."
🍺😎🚬
The second funniest part is right when he walks in..."A brewsky, Charlie." Jesus, don't I lose it on that line.
The name's Mitch!
why didn't they keep it? That was glorious. Richards is a natural genius.
I laughed for like 5 minutes straight after watching that blooper.... That belch was so husky with the smoke LMAO
"But then again, I've been known to do a lot of things!" *BONK*
The urge to burp after the beer and then “that’s a damn good beer, huh? YEEEEEE-HA!!” 😂
For years I somehow thought the cigarette was in the beer as he drank it
A Terrible Student I was today years old when I realized that
Looks like it. to me.
same bro lol. i always thought how did it stay lit!?
?? How does one smoke a cigarette that is completely immersed in a liquid??
Lol same
Actual comedic genius
Kramer is king of his Domain
Revisiting this blooper... again!
To this day I am certain the blooper version is what I originally saw on tv in the 90s.
How did that homeboy keep his cool and not laugh?!!! That is skill!!!!
Scenes involving smoking were some of the all time funniest scenes in Seinfeld. This scene. When Kramer starts a smoking club in his apartment. When George tries to convince Susan he smokes.
Elaine smoking a cigar after winning a bet with Jerry.
I keep rewatching this scene over and over
One of the greatest moments in sitcom history cut for reasons unknown, the take that made the cut is ok but has no energy it, a really bizarre decision. Even if it didn’t cut well with the coverage in the scene it had to make it. Everything about the blooper is gold even him smoking whilst drinking the beer at the same time is 👌👌👌, the burp the timing everything about it is spectacular I’m surprised they didn’t recut this episode for syndication like they did with George’s parents changing performers in earlier in earlier episodes
His delivery of "here's to feeling good all the time" is better in the aired version plus the "that's some damn good beer" and yelp was kind of out of character and the yelp was really loud and I don't know if they could quiet it just that without also quieting the other audio. I think there's a reason in the aired version they don't have him say that. So yeah I think that's why they decided to not use it.
@@jhaz89 It's not out of character because he was going into the bar under cover pretending to be a druggie.
@@jhaz89 Nah his delivery is way better in the blooper version

That belch after drinking the beer. 😂
I don't know how that guy he was talking to could avoid busting out laughing.
Michael Richards class act of an actor. Amazing slapstick comedy moves 😁👍🏻
I never will understand that why they did not use the blooper. That's GOLD or no even better, that's PLATINIUM!
Blooper was amazing, oh my god.
Give that other actor an Oscar. How did he not die from laughter ? Is he a robot?
That was awesome. I miss this program
Me too. CURSES on Signfield for, literally, making a BILLION out of it.
I look forward to the reunion in a year or two..
So he can buy even MORE Porsches.....
I literally booted a GF cause she HATED Signfield, and could NOT understand my obsession with it.
So I figured early on her brain was fucked and fucked her off.
Current one isn't a huge fan either, but she's 18yra younger than me.
I'm 59. So there's a bit more leeway these days 😛
I wish I i could nominate Mr. Michael Richards for the greatest comedy performance
Agreed. Kramer's funniest scene in the entire series.
I couldn't imagine the show without Kramer
Best thing I’ve ever seen
The blooper should have made the cut, the burp and smoke get me every time
I love how the cherry glows as he's drinking
Looks like they gave him a lot less beer to drink in the aired version, maybe to prevent him belching after he sucked it down lol. It was right up to the rim in the blooper, he drained it like a boss.
The outtake was better than the aired version LOL.. Richards is a master of physical comedy. God I love that show!!
The jerky movements and the clumsiness is what makes Kramer funny AF.
When the blooper is better than the aired footage you know you have a hit show
The actor playing the sniffing accountant at the bar is the same guy who played the janitor in “The Breakfast Club.”
Damn I never noticed
at 0:20, when the waitress beans Kramer in the head is so freakin hilarious.. The sound of that wood hitting his noggin (doing), and Michael Richards not even flinching. So simple and yet so genius.

That’s the sign that he’s finished digesting his flammable meal! :)
I agree with many of the other commenters here. I think the blooper was better than the take they ultimately used.
This is one of the funniest scenes by Kramer (Michael).
I thought the guy sitting near him would start to laugh, and I was shocked he kept it together.
I'd never be able to contain myself from laughing!
Thanks For Posting this video! XO
Wtf that blooper was way better
Here's to feeling good all the time. Buuuurrrrpppp
The blooper was better than what they gave us.
Kramer is fantastic in both, but let's give credit to buddy sitting there without losing his shit. I couldn't do it.
I always wondered if they had to do more than one take of that scene. The blooper scene killed me. Although the one they used for the show killed me too. Freakin hilarious!
unpopular opinion: I prefer the final cut
Workprint is the best
“May I ask why?”
I think they should've kept the scene where he perfectly drinks the beer without his second hand underneath, and then immediately cut to the burp and rest of the blooper.
Roger waters fan
Final cut is better
Definitely the funniest Kramer moment of all time
The outtake is ever better i think
The blooper has got to be in my top 10 Kramer laughs.
I hope that was real beer because he deserve it in this clip. 🤣😍🤣
Hahaha that noise he made at the end 😂😂😂
I always wonder whether he tried to puff the cig while drinking or if that just happened. Just straight skill either way. Chugging a beer is one thing, dragon ripping a cig is another; similtaneously? Top notch professional.
What a waste of a million dollar scene. I'm glad they uploaded the blooper atleast
The blooper is much better!!!!!
the way his hands move at the end lol he looks like a cartoon 🤣 amazing
El blooper scene is the best burp-smoke i have seen in my fucking life
My fav part is “I suck em down like there Coca Cola”
Sheer genius in physical comedy.
Absolutely. Sometimes I wonder if he ever hurt himself with some of the falls he did.
LOVE me some Kramer ❤
hero is the other guy who kept it cool for both scenes
I lose it on the burp!!!!!! Classic Kramer
This should have been the scene! 😂😂
Kramer IS my Best 💙🚬🍺👍😅🖤
Kramer was a comedic genius.
still a classic....
The head bonk noise is too good.
If I was the actor I could have kept it together through Kramer drinking then burping but him screaming after saying "thats a damn good beer" would have made me pass out
1:01 Even he had to break character on that one
I swear, if I'd been the guy playing the accountant, I wouldn't have been able to finish the shoot, even with the take that worked!
The blooper scene is waaay better than the one they used!
Great as the original was, the outtake is even better!!
Lol iv never scene anything like it drinking alcohol and smoking a cigarette at the sametime
That's a damn good beer!! Yeehah!
Should’ve kept the blooper scene! “Damn good beer” - and then he burps smoke lmao 😂
GENIOOOOOOO
Awesome😂😂
So dark I had to wear night vision goggles
The blooper was even funnier
I'll have a brewski Johnny
-
My name is Mitch
😂
Charlie
The blooper was better than the original take. Notice the other guy keeps sniffling.
The blooper was great, naturally since Kramer is great most of the time, but the final cut is much better.
I think its cause he showed that he was aware of the spilling (trying to catch the drops) which got this cut
It seems too non-nonchalent
That’s a damn good beer huh? *high pitched yelp*
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant!!!!
1:50 😂
Damm good beer! LMAO!
Don't even consider the blooper a blooper lol was way better then first scene
Kramer lol reminds me of my friend 🤣 😂 😅 same personality omf fr 😭 💀 🤣
How could the other actor keep a straight face? :D
The blooper was way better!!
What's wrong with people? How can you not like this?
The blooper version actually went to air here in Australia
