We have the same stove. The oven works fine but the fan will not turn off. We turn off the breaker to turn it off. When we turn the breaker back on, the fan stays off for a few minutes and then goes back on. Will replacing that board fix our problem? Thanks.

@@GinnyWehlau most likely it will. That board is the entire brain of the stove. Board is pretty cheap and very easy to replace. May as well go for it

Great video. I've got the same stove and it has been intermittent turning on the broil element as in your video. I tried just disconnecting the broil line from the board but the warmup time is too slow for cooking. Next step is to change the board. I did not see any discoloration on the relays of my board. Thanks for posting the video. I'll be ordering my replacement board.

The middle large relay had a large amount of contact arcing most likely causing sticking on.

Good to know which relay is probably the culprit. I kept my old board so if the new one fails I'll try swapping relays.

I have the Samsung NE58k9850WG, which is similar to yours, but has the double oven doors. This issue just started happening to our range. Parts Dr wants roughly $180 for a replacement board. The model number for my replacement board is DE92-03960C, can you confirm yours is the same?

My board ends in A. I'll bet yours is more complex since it's running two ovens, makes sense it's more expensive.. I suggest taking the back off to verify, it's really easy. Just put a couple screws back to hold it on til you get the new board. Sliding the range out, remove and reinstall the back, and sliding it back in will take under 15 mins. Cleaning all the crap behind the range will take longer than the repair.

Did the oven ever give any error code at any time?

All I know is Samsung Range has a terrible track record when it comes to reliability. I had one for five years. I am thinking it broke down at least once a year. Then after five years I had to get a new one since the mother board died and they didn’t have replacement parts. Luckily my insurance covered the cost for a new one. Will never buy a Samsung range again for sure.
