How much I feel
Biggest part of me
We grew up in this amazing decade of talent, diversity and just incredible music.. so glad the younger generation is exploring it..
It's hard to beat the 70s for smooth as silk songs.
I love Ambrosia this is my favorite song !!!
Ambrosia is just plain old great easy listening music. Reminiscing by The Little River Band is another great 70s soft rock song you should check out.
Yes, LRB had some great hits, and their harmonies were always on point.
This is Ambrosia moving into their more pop radio friendly songs. Nothing wrong with that. The talent is undeniable. LOVE all of your reactions to them.
Its next level when David Packs' pitch matches the sax 🤘🤘🤘 Simply 1 of the best Bands ever
David Pack - Guitar and lead vocals Joe Puerta - Bass and vocals Burleigh Drummond - Drums and Vocals Christopher North - keys and vocals.
Don’t forget David Cutler Lewis - keyboards, electric piano. And Royce Jones - Background vocals
Love it!!! Musical f-ing magic. They are amazing for real!!
MUST MUST MUST listen to Ambrosia --- "Holdin on to Yesterday".......most soulful song from them
Ambrosia and Steely Dan both two of my favorite bands and they are epic!! Like hugs 4 your soul!!!
Some more 1970s easy listening/soft rock notables.
Ambrosia: "That's How Much I Feel", "Biggest Part of Me"
Little River Band: "Reminiscing", "Lady", "Lonesome Loser"
Seals and Crofts: "Summer Breeze", "Diamond Girl"
Firefall: "You Are The Woman", "Just Remember I Love You", "Strange Way"
Ace: "How Long'
This list, right here! Toss in some Christopher Cross and I think you've hit the 70's apex predators of that genre.
There are other good soft rock hits from the 70s AW
Jefferson Starship: "With Your Love"
Gary Wright: "Dream Weaver"
Rod Stewart: "You're in My Heart"
Johnny Rivers: "Slow Dancin'"
Linda Ronstadt: "Blue Bayou"
David Pack is lead singer for ambrosia
Ahhh....cheat code, was trying to figure out what chico meant at first lol
Musical magic, you said it !
Absolutely incredible band!
This is my favorite Ambrosia tune.
I love this song! I especially love the intro and the drum heard throughout the song
David Pack had one of the smoothest falsetto transitions...EVER. Highly underrated as a singer and band.
Honestly and unfortunately though, they only really had 4 big hits..... but still, their talents far exceed their commercial success.
As mentioned, you would really enjoy either one of these notoriously great tunes by them..
How Much I Feel
You're the Biggest Part of Me.
Keep Rockin' Jay-Rah'😎
They have another song that's the bomb. Its called You're The Biggest Part Of Me!
I was a teen when this came out and deep into what my teenager sensibilities thought was "serious music" (Rush, Yes, ELP, Cream, Led Zeppelin). Then one day a friend pointed out that the drummer's given name is the same as my surname. Well, of course, that made Ambrosia "serious music" in a heartbest. LOL!! I kept the Ambrosia 8-Tracks in the glove box when certain friends were in the car. LOL!! What a fool I used to be😁
LL&P🖖
Ambrosia and Bread, baby makin' music back in my day...when parkin' was still a thang!!🎶🎶🎧😊
Ambrosia was one of my favorite bands. Lead and back-up vocals were so SMOOOTH!
“How much I feel “ is another great song from these guys!
Just found this band about 3 years ago from a live album they did
Living on my own is a little played gem
I've been a fan of Ambrosia since "Holding On To Yesterday" in 1975. I saw them live in SoCal in 1980 and they sounded perfect!!
They also have some prog rock bangers like "Life Beyond LA." You gotta go deeper into their catalog to find some gems like "Shape I'm In" "Heart To Heart" "Ready For Camarillo" "If Heaven Could Find Me" and many others like "Nice, Nice, Very Nice!" You've struck gold, my friend!! 😉✌❤
They recorded a new song for their Anthology greatest hits album that came out in the mid 90's called Just can't let go with James Ingram and Michael McDonald singing back up, amazing song.
They sounded great live too!
So smooth. Thanks.
David Pack is the lead singer. Tremendous talent.
“I don’t get how a band can be this effin’ good?!” Exactly my reaction the first time I heard Ambrosia 😂 Pulling off those harmonies while holding down that groove at the same time? Silliness
And to beat it all they sound exactly like that live There's so many bands from that era that are just insanely good We were very very lucky I count my blessings
that's the Great Ernie Watts on Sax; he's a Jazz/R&B legend; he recorded with Quincy Jones a lot
This is a great soft rock band. The lead singer's voice is notable, as you can see how easily he transitions to falsetto. And the tone of his voice is so smooth ("like butter" as we used to say) and as Jay Rah points out here.
I'm telling you music from 1950 to1999 was truly music of all jondras my opnion
The craziest thing is that most of the bands back then were that good. Real instruments, real voices (no auto-tune) and real talent!!!
Great react as usual Jay! From Wiki: The group was founded as a quartet with guitarist/vocalist David Pack, bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, keyboardist Christopher North and drummer Burleigh Drummond. I'm requesting Living On My Own for your next Ambrosia track. The bass really grooves on this one.
Ambrosia dominated FM radio when I was growing up. Although Hall & Oates gave them a run for their money, I'd have to put Ambrosia slightly ahead.
Hall and Oates got beat out by a lot of bands, one after another, but somehow stayed relevant since before or after (in many cases both) still scratching my head on that one.
Bro I luuhve! your reaction videos! You speak so honestly and have such an obvious passion and ear for music. You have a producer's quality to you I usually analyze music in the same way and have the same feelings toward it as you do. .for every genre. But ya,, Ambrosia! I feel it too!😊🎶
One of the best products to come out of the 70's LA scene
Beautiful. Just beautiful music.
They are an incredible band. I super enjoyed ur reaction. Thank you so much
Please give the Little River Band a shot! Very similar group from the same era. Great musicians with incredible vocals! Suggest Reminiscing, Lady, Cool Change.
You're right bro..Ambrosia were at another level back in the late 70s early 80s...
Love this song!!
Finally someone who knows music, thanks young man lot of hard work goes into it.
Music from my generation was fantastic music
ARE you okay, BRO?? DO we need to call out 911 for you? YOUR face said it ALL! OH, yes, the power of AMBROSIA!! unique is the only word to describe them, also much under-rated! AS a young er girl ,I would close my eyes and pretend they were singing to me!! IM 36 now! loved it!
Love hearing a reactor that has instrument knowledge. Subscribed bro.
Ambrosia is AMAZING!
That background tripped me out.
Paul Davis also. Great reaction! So many treasures for you to find! Dan Fogelberg another!
Haha! Great reaction. Ambrosia is awesome
On the album cover he has the mustache
David has the most unique voice I have ever heard. Joe Puerta also has a great voice, great band!!! Try listening to Life Beyond L A..... David's solo albums are also amazing
Love this group....never gets old. Such a class act. :) Loved the reaction and so glad you're bringing back good music.
You have to give The Biggest Part of Me ...live a listen Quincy Jones said it is greatest song ever done
Lisssennnn …I really miss growing up in the 70s . Ambrosia is as silky smooth as they come. Little 11 year old me was emotional 😭 🤌🏽 That sound is probably great production by Alan Parsons
Good reaction 👍👍👍
You definetly need to hear Santana 'Black Magic Woman'
Didn’t think anyone in your generation would love them as much as I always have from day one! Keep the great 70s alive .
React to The Classics IV tunes, you won’t be disappointed! my best is Traces
David Pack had to wtite this song in answer to his TO HIS WIFE who got really pissed off at How much i feel song. Lol.
The lead singer is David Pack
Has that Earth wind and fire tones to it
You don’t start and stop the songs. New subscriber big fan.
I was a teenager when I first heard this song, and loved Ambrosia since then. Listen to their other songs, you'll love them all. 💕
Apothecary is another great song that you should check out from the "Life Beyond LA" CD.
Killer review, you are it man
Ran in here! Can’t wait to see YOU HEAR THIS! Amazing!
I love this band, great reaction. I love the way the snare was EQ'd as well, it blew me away that you said that. They are one tasteful band. I'm new to your channel so I don't know what you've reacted to, but you must check their live videos. Much love brother. 😎
Check them stank faces you makin! The smoothness made me made a similar face. This is a great song, love the groove...smoove indeed.
Listen to “Atlantic Rhythm Section” you’ll love them also
Imaginary Lover & Spooky Little Girl
Those songs first yes, ok 👍🏻
PS: These guys right here are “Golden”
I’m so grateful that you were introduced to their prog side before the pop one. I love their pop music, grew up on it, but their prog really solidified them for me.
LL, love it, NO autotone back then...... Realize that everything today is crap
That's how we be doin it, BAK! DAE i meant back in the day lol 😅
Now you're really getting into the good stuff... Ambrosia, Steely Dan, Earth Wind & Fire... All this stuff and NO AUTOTUNE.... All the young artists today should be ashamed. It's great to see your generation discover just how good some of these old rock, funk, jazz, R&B fusion groups were. These were players...You go on stage, tour the country and deliver the goods when you have to. Always perfect.
Great song, great band. A contemporary band to them was Firefall. Check out “ Just Remember I Live You” and “Strange Way”. You will like them if you like Ambrosia.
Ambrosia is a all around great band. Their music still has the very same effect that it did on the masses then and now as J. Loves it likewise. I know with no Doubts that IF people listened to them today as we did people would be better for it..
Great hormones
Man, you broke out the very stankiest of stankface for this one. But who can help it?
🔥
You were born with music moxie, you entwine yourself with the music, digging all the pieces....check out kandace springs...maybe "forbidden fruit"
If you like this, check out their songs "How Much I Feel" and Biggest Part of Me

Check out Ambrosia ’Biggest part of me’
Dampened snare
Please react to En Vogue 😊
They "Sangin"
Ambrosia’s top4 songs are too good. It’s unfair really.
This is music...not sure what its called being played today

I loved your reaction❤❤❤ try biggest part of me you will love ❤️ that too!!
good group and I like them alot especially How Much I Feel is way better than this song- way better- this is a good song but basic pop= but no where near the level of Steely Dan and Led Zep and Wishbone Ash Doobie Bros
