Ambrosia had all intentions of being a Prog rock band Alan Parsons had just left. Apple studios after working on Dark side of The Moon .Went to California and went work producing these guys...The in turn along with The band Pilot played on Parsons Tales of Mystery and Imagination ..

@@TeezMcGee Those are considered the 3 "Big' Hits. All 3 are Blue Eyed soul / Yacht Rock. Smooth as silk. Make ya do a slide swagger in your dance groove!! You'll love them. There is one song by a group called Player "Baby Come Back" is in same genre and vibe that people usually think if that follows those 3.

Maybe it was the radio market where you lived. I lived in L.A. when this hit was released and it was all over the pop and r & b radio in So.Cal.

Yeah, I'm late to your party. I just want to drop some truth to one of Ambrosia's musicians who doesn't get nearly enough love: organist Chris North. His contribution to this just perfect love song is significant. I believe he's one of THE BEST organists I've ever heard in my lifetime of diggin' rock, ballads, funk, punk, soul, etc...and my lifetime has been considerable to this point! 😂
