When Paul Mitchell said the transfers were "un-fit for purpose" he meant keeping players like Callum, Miggy, Dubravka and others rather than the incomings. We wouldn't have had to sell Anderson and Mintah. I don't understand why we have some players still on the books.

My rant is what has happened to our club? The training Ground? The stadium? Poor performances? Ceo? Accountability? Money, lack of? Challenging PSR? Where is our owner?

I agree entirely. There was more activity on the Marie Celeste when it hoved into view. Does anyone fancy making a decision? All we’ve got is Howe with that daft half grin telling us that it’s Moët when it tastes an awful lot like piss…

Eddie talks up PSR every chance he gets to deflect blame from the deficiencies of HoweBall (I’m going to trademark that presentation 😂) and generate sympathy for himself. All the nice guy stuff I don’t particularly buy. He’s ok, but he’s also stubborn and disingenuous. I don’t believe for one second when he says the England job and the surrounding glare wasn’t for him; he was gagging for that gig, and the business in the summer when he blew the lid on behind the scenes was a blatant come and get me to the FA, only they weren’t biting. I don’t think he actually wants to be here but he ain’t going anywhere without his fat pay off

Personally think thats a smokescreen for dropping him. He's been very poor recently, terrified of the ball at his feet, and looks like he doesn't want to dive on his knackered shoulder. We have a Greek international sat there, why not give him a chance.

Almiron isn’t a champions league winger but he outperformed Gordon and Murphy in that competition. Obviously the now infamous miss against Milan pissed everyone off but he did turn up in those games.

I think Howe's problem is that he gets too invested in players through developing them, and gets too dependent on them to produce when they don't. Loyalty is a virtue, but he needs to be more ruthless outwith the injury situations.

    Hallo Chris, Mark...
    Sad, really. He's such a good player..when fit ??
How is he injured again? It's so sad .known our luck we'll sell & he'll remain injury free for months....
Which should have happened 2 years ago. Eddies loyalty will be, amongst other things, his downfall
You're right, Chris. He doesn't deserve any grief. But the Internet is full of weapons !
    He can't help ageing 😅.

He could retire gracefully instead of raking in mega bucks for nothing. This is the same guy who was making his mouth go about not settling for being an impact sub! Hah. You ain’t even that Callum, you have to occasionally be available…

Can someone explain to me what exactly Steve Bunce was brought in for and does?
Coz I'm not seeing an improvement in the backroom medical staff and the managing of our crocked players...
And also, who's responsible for us having like 50 goalkeepers, but only 1 (that's shaky at the best of times) who Eddie trusts... make it make sense.

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ

What’s the point of him really. I think all clubs need to start putting clauses in contracts whereby if you’re injured perpetually or for a certain amount of time the club should be able to cancel the contract. Not sure how it would work but feel like it’s the right thing to do. If I don’t fulfil my job, I’d be binned

its a shame for the bloke but his body is done. Eddie should have let him go but it is one of his boys, eddie does not put the club first as he's proved many times. like many others at the club it is time to say thanks Callum but your time is up, would not surprise me if Eddie tries to extend his contract. he's been a top player for us but that's it done now. Eddie excuse will have to try Osula (his Jay's scouting signing) as there will be nobody else soon enough, no doubt he will probably play trips up front instead

It’s the fault of the manager - weak - being indulged by mr and mrs, aka ‘wor’ Mandy and him indoors. I’m absolutely sick of the sentimental bullshit surrounding this club, them two had about as much idea on how to run a football club as I do, utterly indulged saint Eddie as something akin to the second coming who could do no wrong and whose every utterance should be carved on stone tablets. Wilson, trippier, Murphy, longstaff and almiron ALL should have gone in the window of 2023, but our piss weak, bang average, ludicrously overrated manager decided they all ‘deserved’ to play champions league football, as if they’d just won a CBBC competition. And now we’ve got these players on big wages who will all just have to run down their contracts because no one in their right minds would have them, although of course in the case of longstaff maybe not because genius that he is nice guy Eddie wants him on a new contract, wouldn’t want to lose all that creativity and skill on the ball eh. Yet our easily pleased fan base will be popping the champagne corks if we beat Leicester tomorrow. They deserve what they demand - nothing. If Howe stays, next season we get relegated. That simple. Howe out.

Unfortunately Wilson has been an expensive liability for far too long. Mitchell has disappeared since he gobbed off in the summer, and while he's here we will win exactly diddly squat. Howe has to take the blame for where we've got to today. The Owners have had enough, the new stadium they promised is now a giant Gallowgate end ffs.

I will tell my problem with Wilson…he has known for. Some time he is not capable of playing in the premier league his body is not up to it and I believe he was told this …but he kept this from the club he should have done the decent thing and retired due to injury and the club and he would of got paid the compensation..he should not have been driving up and down the country doing podcasts when he was injured he should have been resting up or having extra physio etc etc he has cheated the club…

When a player is taking the kind of money out of the club, that a lot of fans will not see in a lifetime when he must know he is physically over the hill then maybe he should take responsibility and leave and maybe some of these elite footballers need to be criticised a lot more. I don't believe in abuse but its coming to the point where these elitist players feel so badly done to by the fans, their all so upset sitting in there Jags crying into their champagne in Namby Pamby land. I do like Callum Wilson and he was a good striker for us by the way and I wish him well.
