I was nine when Scooby Doo 2 was released. No one plays a better Live action Shaggy than Matthew Lillard. Love the idea of Mystery Inc battling reanimated versions of monsters they’ve fought in the original cartoon series.

I wasn't suppose to be in the movie. When fillming started, the director realized that they had forgotten to cast anyone to play Velma. Shaggy, feeling so incredibly passionate about the project, used 4.35% of his immense power to literally will me into existence. He created me just to play Velma. I owe Shaggy my very exixtence - Velma Dinkley
Scooby was actually going to be played by an actual dog to make the film feal more realistic but, shaggy used 1% of his power and the dog gained human speech and the ability to walk.
