Thanks a lot. I worked on a cellphone with sketchbook and never realized the tablet version is way different, so your tutorial was very convenient. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing from Mexico.
This tutorial is fantastic. I'm a total beginner and just stumbled across Sketchbook. And this video has really given me confidence to try it and I'm excited to draw with it now. It was really helpful to see you drawing at the end as well. Thanks so much
Robert, thank you for taking the time to make this video! I just started learning about sketchbook and your video has been great. Time to watch it again! and take some notes.
Thanks so much for doing this. I've never used Sketchbook on a desktop, but now I am trying to learn it on a Chromebook, and this video is a gem of clarity and information.

How do i alter the selection's size without deforming it? Also how do i select all layers in order to alter all their shapes at the same time? Is there liquify option?
I just bought a tablet with Sketchbook on it. First, THANK YOU for the tutorial. My question is, How Do You Close The Program???? I don't see any X or any way that says close, I have to turn off the tablet to escape.😔
It depends on the tablet. I'm only familiar with the iPad where you swipe from the bottom and then you see all the apps that are open and swipe the ones away you want to close. I don't know how other tablets work.
Thank you for this tutorial! I have one question that would greatly help me, is there a way to prepare artwork made in AS mobile for printing? Can I decide the dpi and change the colour to CMYK?
Hey! I love your videos, and I'm learning a lot. Thanks for sharing. I have a quick question I can't find online. I'm using an Android Samsung tablet. Can you import color pallets into the app? I paint murals, and I'm using this app to make concepts. If I can add the Montana colors to the pallets, I can have my colors match up. Thanks!
Thank you. Sadly I am not familiar with the android version but I’m sure it is working similar to the apple version. If you go to Colors and the the swatches button(middle one out of the 3 on the top) there should be two arrows in the bottom middle that will let you switch between your swatches, create your own and also extract from images and photos. That should solve your problem.

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. i use thye mobile version. my Selection tool not working. When dragging the rectangle the dotted line disappear as soon as I let go and the magic wand just never appears. Do you have any solution?
There is no more Copic color palette. Autodesk had the deal with Copic but ever since Sketchbook left Autodesk they don't have the rights to that. But they have a vatuaty collection of colors swatches on ipdad under the colors tab that does the same thing exactly
Though this is a good introductary tutorial. It's very hard to grasp all the tools at one time. I think its better to introduce a a set. of few tools and let me get used to it and then go to next set. It would be easier for me to learn.
I can't save work in layers, even though I set psd on the tablet, I probably didn't press well on something, I go back to work, all the layers disappear
When we do Sketch and Shading in different layers, how can we move and transform multiple layers ( sketch layer and shading layer ) together without merging ?
Well, crap, this is the larger screen rendering. I just started the small screen (phone) version and hell if I can even guess how to undo my last step. So frustrated. Tried swiping in from every edge. No dice. Tried every one of the 6 icons it shows on the first screen, no dice. UGH.
