I loved this and the binder showing that you support other shops. It's amazing how you put it together and you randomize them to make it even more fun to save.
As an adult, my Mom still sent me a $20 bill for every birthday...it may not seem like a lot, but it always came at an opportune time. She passed away quite a few years ago, but every birthday I still catch myself waiting on the postman to see if there is a money card for me. lol I send my daughter a $50 bill for her birthday...she is 48! She says it's always nice to buy a little "treat" with unbudgeted money!
Great video! My grandmother always sent me $20, a stick of gum and a small article she cut out the newspaper that she thinks I’d like for my birthday.. I really do miss that. I only buy for my parents my sister, my children/daughter-in-law and grandson
I buy birthday gifts for my kids, husband and my mom. i usually will take my dad to dinner or a basketball game. for christmas i will buy my mom, kids and husband. for the last few years they have all just gotten tha same amount of money. i havent decorated for the holidays yet. probably after thanksgiving. my mom always sends me $100-200 for my birthday and christmas. i have already purchased items for my coworkers totaling around $15 each
That's a great question. We just had a Sweet 16 for my daughter last weekend and spent over $1000. All budgeted, though. About 45 guests catered food and had to rent tables and chairs. I normally budget $500 per kid (my kids). That includes the family dinner, though. Otherwise, $50 for other birthdays (niece, nephew, and godson).
Great video! Loved that it wasn’t perfect, makes me feel less awkward. I actually bought my last gift this week, I’m all done with the Christmas shopping at least.
We only had 1 child . She is a good kid 30 in March but still my baby usually around $100 or so. I dont have any grandbabies but 5 great nieces and nephews $25 ish unless they are old enough to ask us for what they want 😊 and me and my hubby just varies 😊 almost done shopping 🛍 😊😊. Will decorate on Dec 1 my birthday 😊😊. Great video today
I love it. I was laughing so hard wondering when you’d realize you were taking money from the wrong stack 😂😂😂. Great video Marlene. Have a wonderful weekend.
I never had biological chicken my nieces are my kids so I always save for them and their husbands bday and now their babies. They are 30, 27 and 24 so they aren’t kids anymore but I try to give about $40 for each.
