Ulverbite thanks man! I plan to give every army the Nighthaunt series treatment, however it will take a while to get round to it. So this is some love for them before they get the full treatment :)
I was watching this video while deciding wether to buy my first pack of Sylvaneth Dryads or not (My first ever miniature pack) and was sold halfway through. Can't wait to get creative with these guys and maybe use a few them in one of my D&D campaigns. I might even start playing warhammer if my friends get into it.
S K that’s cool to hear, and I’m glad you liked the video. Definitely a way to start a collection slowly until you find out if you want to dive into a Warhammer army :)
Do you like the seasons?!? Just say do you like the seasons?!?! Hahaha amazing video, just bought my first sylvaneth army today and subscribed to your channel. What a win!!!
I glued all the extra Base decorations from the dryads onto my Treelord Ancient's base and it makes it look like a throne of vines (relic choice) or "The Dweller's Below" effect which is a spell. Sylvaneth are very easy to customize :)
You can ally in Wanderers (the new name for Wood Elf units). However if you want to mix it up you are best going Living City. Here is my link to Why Play Living City 🙂 ua-cam.com/video/9aGlv1S1Q3c/v-deo.html
I kinda wish they would have kept the Wood Elves/Wanderers as part of Slyvaneth at least a little as I liked them. I’m also not a huge fan of the overly grim dark take on their lore of brutally killing anyone who even accidentally trespasses on their land. If I was a lord and one of my subjects was killed in such a way I’d rent an old Dwarven Flame Cannon and shoot a few shots of that in the general direction of the Slyvaneth’s Forest... 😄 🔥 As a side note I really like the Slyvaneth that are partially blue. And like you I also really like Alarielle’s succulent thick thighs. 😎
I personally like the grim dark lore, it sets them apart from the typical friendly forest spirits. Although I do agree I would of liked Wanderers to of stuck with them so it was still very much a Wood Elf army. Haha I think you'll find a nasty response.
I love the evolution of the wood elf army but i miss the elves so much. Is warhammer going to go through another change again? I have nostolgia for the old world.
The way I started my sylvaneth: __________________________________________The Road to 1000 points___________________________________________________________________________________________________ SC: Sylvaneth x2 gives you 32 dryads to make 29 dryads and 3 branch nymphs (allows you to do 10/10/10, 10/20, or 30 man units of dryads), 2 branchwyches (which can be converted to the FAR superior branchwraith, who summons dryads), and 2 tree lords (which you can make into a tree lord ancient and a spirit of durthu). Sylvaneth Arch revenant Now you decide what you want for your battle line choice. I like spite revenants, others like tree revenants, others like dryad spam. Get 2x boxes of them (yes even if you like dryads you need more boxes of them, since branchwraiths can summon on avg 30 dryads a game) 2-3x sets of Wyldwoods, your army relies on these pieces of terrain for a good amount of their buffs. -----------------------------------------------------------------------1000 point and beyond__________________________________________________________________________________________________ complete your battleline units (you need 3x battle line units at 2000pts) Kurnoth hunters you literally cannot go wrong with, get as many as you want and model them with whatever weapons you want, they're all pretty good. Alarielle and Drycha are both very good, but rather pricey models. Drycha is a mortal wound machine but is VERY fragile, Alarielle is a magic monster (note: Alarielle allows you to summon in 200pts of stuff be it kurnoth hunters, revenants, dryads or a regular tree lord, so when list building with her make sure to take that summon into consideration)
@@corbingovers7559 i find getting everyrhing at once ruins the collecting aspect..the undedog feeling of building is completly gone right frpm the stary cause tou have way to much dtuff hard to put emotional value into a pile of plastic instead of starting with a 20$ captain and 2 weeks lster get a group of dudes.. of course it will be more expensove that way....
Sylvaneth goes beyond "get off my lawn".
Sylvaneth is the lawn itself kicking you off of it.
Haha yes!
Can’t get out of my head of Bob Ross paintings these happy little trees
Hope you will go through Sylvaneth units. Going through your Nighthaunt series and really dig it!

i recently came into possession of a bit of these boys. glad to have found a good place to get a quick intro!
Good to hear! It's a cool army!

Sounds really nice bud! They are a great army to be creative with :)
"Are you an 'outdoorsie' type of person?"
No, that's why I am playing Warhammer Age Of Sigmar! :)
Haha well I like both XD

They are not happy trees.
I did a redwood forest! Awesome video!
Thanks man and that sounds really cool!

Is there an easy way, to see how old certain sculpts are ?
Not really, just buy eye.
Can we run wood elves with sylvaneth

Another change? I love Woodelves too!
@@AgeofNagash the aos ones seem to just be purly tree people basically. I want to get some models from a similar game and use old wood elf rules.
@@codyhughes1147 As long as your opponent is happy with that it's all good :)
hey! New player here, should i start a sylvaneth army with the start collecting set or would you recommend another approach? thanks!
As always it depends how you want your army! However I would go for the Start Collecting Box if I was you pal :)

is their ever new models released for Age of Sigmar?
Yep, loads!
Did your local GW burn down as a result of local consumers being disgruntled about prices? Lol
Nope lol, it was an electrical fire.
