Bob & Brad: Most power for size Size makes for easier one-handed use 6-8 hrs battery life USB type C (huge benefit w fast charging) One of cheapest models ($120 is amazing) Very quiet Seems like a clear winner imo
Great video. I’ve owned a few massage guns and now have the Theragun Pro. It’s fantastic! Yes it’s a bit loud however I don’t believe noise level should be a factor. I’m looking for efficacy.
I have the Theragun Elite. Expensive but love the way I can reach all areas with ease. Also very powerful and has really helped me recover from sciatica issues. I use it every day. Best $ 400.00 dollars I have ever spent!
That’s great! I love that there are products for all of us ... and 1,000s more 😂 I’ve personally never found the extra handle positions that useful and can’t get over how loud it is every time I use it.
Great review. Just curious, what do you do with all these massage guns after the review? I am need of one but can't afford it right now. I am hoping that you can sell them at a deep discount. I am looking for one that is not too bulky, easy to hold (beginning to have arthritis on my hand), not too heavy and does the job. Thank you.
It definitely doesn’t hit you as hard. With the strong stall force though you can still dig down into that muscle. It’s somewhat comes down to if you want to feel the hit as well. I almost exclusively use the Q2 myself.
Which model do you think is today the best? I understand that the stall force (the force that you need to stop the movement) and the amplitude of movement are the 2 most important factors... For example the theragun has 16mm of excursion amplitude and a very hight stall force
Nice! You've done your homework! Good job! Here's what I will say. The one I personally carry is the Bob & Brad. I personally carry it with me to the gym for warmup etc, so I prefer the smaller size. I used the Theragun Elite last night actually. It definitely hits hard, and sometimes too hard it seems when you just want a lighter massage. Everyone is different though. Here's my video comparing 30+ massage guns and basically show the top 5 and what to all look for. After you narrow it down to the good massage guns, it kind of comes down to personal preference. ua-cam.com/video/G_5-kCE9LiI/v-deo.html
@@BeforeYouBuyReview Thought I had made my choice until I stumbled on your videos! I picked up the Elite and Hypervolt on BF sale but haven't opened either yet. I want something that can also do a lighter massage and not always pounding massage. I tried the Theragun Pro in store and it was too aggressive for my liking and would "jump" off my back. Thinking the Elite will do the same? How would you compare they Hypervolt to the B&B in terms of force? I didn't see the amplitude anywhere of the B&B. From what I have studied the Hypervolt can provide a good overall massage and more pleasant then the Theragun Elite. Wondering if B&B will be similar and I could save some $$. Thx!!
My impatience is leaning towards the Medcursor, since the Bob n Brad is not shipping till a few weeks out, and the coupon is no longer applicable. Thanks for the valuable information with all your reviews, I have seen them all. That said, I came across a gun by the name of Urikar Pro I think you should review it, it looks innovative with its design and features and has a nice three prong head.
Thanks for the kind words! Glad they helped. I hear you on not wanting to wait. Amazon has ruined us! 😂 I’ll check that one out and see what I can do. Thanks
Why wasnt the softerspot s2 included in this video? I was just about to purchase the softerspot but I thought I would watch a couple of videos first, is it not a good gun?? Or just not included. I am a competitive swimmer and I want the best bang for my buck massage gun with lots of power(stall force).
Yeah, it’s a good massage gun. I like the the Bob & Brad and Sportneer a little more personally. The Softerspot S2 is probably top 5 still. You can watch my more in-depth videos on those to see if you agree.
Was it the first time using your Massage Gun? Sometimes it will make a different noise if you didn’t have the massage head pushed in all of the way. So maybe using it deep on the hip pushed it in further like it should’ve been. Does that sound potentially right? Which one did you get?
Thanks for the questions, Brenda! Depends on how much you want to spend, but if you want a stronger massage gun, it’s really hard to beat the Sportneer I mention in this video. You can use the discount code I have in description as well. I get a little kick back from that as well - but I can honestly say it’s the strongest and most affordable out of the 60 massage guns I’ve used.
Noticeable which is why I initially mentioned it but I’ve used it a lot the last month and has never been an issue at all. I don’t think it will either.
Apologies for bothering but do you have any information on the Merach Nano Pro currently available through Indiegogo? Is that a good product or doesn't really match the power of a Theragun? Thanks a lot for the help.
Hey love your videos. I was wondering what massage gun would you recommend. I do crossfit workouts, play tennis and biking. I want the best I can get under $200. I have used my friend's Hypervolt but I'm not willing to spend that much. Sportneer, Medcursor, Edkins or Bob and Brad???
Thanks so much! I’m glad the videos have been helpful! I would highly recommend the Bob & Brad. Check out my review on it to make sure it’s a good fit for you too!
Yeah, all of the above. It wouldn’t matter as much, but I still prefer the smaller size for me personally. Watch the in-depth reviews to see if you agree though. I want to make sure you get one that fits your needs. 👍 let me know if you have other questions!
As a chiropractor there are times when I want that intense high power massage. I use a Gen 3 theragun and love it other than the loudness which makes it tough to talk to patients while using the gun. Have you tested the legiral gun? It says it has 16mm amplitude. How does it compare to the power of theragun?
Good insight. I haven’t had a chance to try that massage gun sadly. I have used the PulseFX which is very comparable to the Theragun for sure. It doesn’t quite have the fit and finish though, but it’s also cheaper.
I think power/force, amplitude and speed are most important for athlete. Because very weak power cannot deep massage to big muscle for example, hamstrings and gluteus of athlete. Opove M3 Pro Japan version was improve its amplitude 12mm to 14mm. It might be good. Regarding Bob & Brad Massage gun, it is attractive designed by Physical Therapist. It might be good.
Yup, I don’t fully disagree. Just depends on the situation. Possibly portable and noise is important for instance so they can keep on backpack easily and use on bus or plane. Lots of factors. To dig deep though, it’s got to have stall force

Shouldn’t Lifepro Pulse FX be on this short list??? I was able to obtain one for $179 recently. Great performance (amplitude & stall force) for the price.
That’s definitely up there as well. As are some others but I wanted to keep the list limited. The reason I didn’t put the Pulse FX on there is because of how loud it is. It’s significantly louder. That’s a pretty decent price for it though, I just don’t think I could put up with the noise
I’m still waiting to hear back from Opove regarding getting a Pro. Spec wise it looks good, but I’ve sadly come to not trust specs from anyone anymore.
