I own the copy right of this video
The high beam bulb is also the daytime driving bulb. Thank you! Other videos on UA-cam don’t clarify that.
Won’t that cause it to flicker while using DRLs?
@@justshutup0 no, the flicker is acuallly do to the cameras FPS(Frames per second) our eyes cannot pick that up.
What a great video! You explain everything very well and show us everything very well. You are awesome!
Good video just installed 2022 low & high beams drl blinks ? Low beam drivers side(battery ) installed then removed to make line connection when putting back in noticed lock ring stayed in housing put bulb back in lock ring hole seems to be OK, kept wire down 6 o'clock after turning right
Hi, great video. I have already bought and installed the Lasfit H11 low beams in my 2017 Camry. Now, I did call the Lasfit guys in Caifornia before, because I intended to buy low and high beams, but the told me the 9005 bulbs will flicker so they were working on a new development to avoid that. Since you mentioned in your video, that the flickering was just because of some effect on the video itself, you can assure that under normal human view there is no flickering? I'm aware of the video effect because I have seen it on aircraft videos and you can notice some screens flickering. But the comment on the Lasfit guy raised some doubts.
I will look forward to your comments.
Thanks.
Ramón is right, looking at the lights when they on. you can barely notice the flickering effect. i installed some led bulbs on the high beams of a 2012 camry and i had the low flickering effect. hard to notice. besides that they look awesome. but i think a quick solution for that flickering effect would be removing the DRL fuse. (drl will be turned off but high beam will work normal.
when your driving are the hids on? or is it just the DRL
Is this specific light adjusted already from the manufacture because the beam angle of the bulb may be different from the original bulb....usually led lights have a little screw where you can lose it and rotate the led to find the right spot for best spread of light on the road.
Thank you for great videos !
Do you need a attachment for these ? Will it kill your battery if you don’t have the attachment?
Does this have two brightness levels? Daytime and high beam or are you driving around with bright LEDs all the time now? I don't want to be bothing people driving towards me.
they do have two brightness levels. DRL is a lot dimmer than high beams.
Lasfit is the stuff! Great video dude
thank you; they are so far so good.
Don’t buy them guys, they flicker in drl mode. It bothers a lot. You can see it with your eyes, not only in camera. I wasted my money on those. My advice, don’t buy them. I was looking for led light “dimmable” ones but I guess there are no such lights for cars.
I did waste my money too..DRL FLICKERS works fine on high beams
same mine drls flicker too :( such a waste for buying the night and daylight combo
Does the drl setting dim at lower power or do they stay bright as high beam?
I have a 2017 Camry xse 4 cylinder my car's DRLs are the fog lights will these bulbs turn my high beams to DRLs? my car looks exactly like your car is yours a 6 cylinder? why do you have your high beams as DRLs also?
for some reasons by default all the xse models already come with the LED DRL but they decided to put them down there with those turn signals instead. I don't believe these bulbs would turn your high beams to drls to be honest, but with that said, you already got the best of the best already. mine just the base SE 4cylinder which has drls and high beam together.
I have 2015 Toyota Camry le And the DRL and the high beams are the same bulb do these 9005 led bulbs work as drl and high beams too
Hi...When I checked the compatibility of this bulb from the ebay link you have given, it says not compatible with Toyota Camry 2017 SE. Can you please provide me the link where to buy these?
I have lasfit in my vehicles and they are great. I tried to find 9005 but they said not available
Hello thanks for the video.Question have a 2015 toyota camry
Can u put led light on front headlight side marker if so which bulb from las fit.thanks
Why to regular headlights need driver/ballst and high beam do not need driver/ballast? why do some kits have 1 LED and other kits have multiple LEDS? Thanks for info
Are you then your high beams off and on when your driving?
Ordered same bulbs I have the same car they strobe in drl mode canbus boxes made it worse they are bright as high beams but I’d avoid them
The strobing is due to the way the daytime running lights are powered to lower brightness. You need an LED decoder to smooth out the current to the LED bulbs. It's not a problem with the LED bulbs themselves.
@@jdekeyser1 what is a good brand decoder for DRL 2017 camry SE? thanks
@@johnramos37 hate when people don't reply.
Do these lights work as a DRL and a high beam?
I've ordered some LEDs similar to these before, however they wouldn't work as DRL's but only as high beams with the DRL function turned off. The explanation I got was that they wouldn't work at such a low wattage (used for the DRL) but would as the high beam (higher wattage).
Your explanation kinda makes sense because even on certain household LED light bulbs are not made to be dimmable, same thing with led for car. But according to my car Camry 2017 SE, these particular bulbs do work as DRL and high beam, and they have been running strong so far. But it's always a good idea to look at their return policy before you buy them in case they don't work out. Good luck.
Let me add a comment to that. I did the same thing and notice that LED would flicker when the voltage is low as a DRL. So I bought a anti-flickering load (plug in resistor) that will hold the current steady, which helps. With HIGH beam, the LED has a scattering effect which is bright, but does not reach very far. A little disappointed with the results, so I end up just swtiching back to stock. I am still lookingI for a solution to get away from the stock DRL, which looks lame. I like the looks of the 2016 Camry which has the DRL on the bottom with the signal light. For that, I changed to a swtich-back which work and looks (white) for the parking light.
I ran into the same problem where the LED bulb does not switch between DRL and High Beam. I also had the flickering problem running DRL.
so this bulb (LED) is for DRL and the same time High beam? so is that means, when at daytime is already high beam or brigth?
Team timothy dab standard, the DRL runs at a lower voltage which produces a dimmer bulb with the standard halogens. With LEDs you sometimes need CANBUS decoders to get rid of flickering.
Flickers are due to the camera shutter speed and the Hz of the LEDs.
Heck no you can see it when you look into a rear mirror or when they are far away I’ve seen it
hi! what color are your low beam HIDs 5000k/ 6000k? they seem to match the 9005 - I think the lasfit come in 6000k.
sorry for the late reply. they are 6000k
Can I use dust cover after using led or will effect high temperature
Great Video! Can you also explain were did you got the low beams from and how to install them?
I think those are stock factory HIDs
Lasfit H11
so why does the LED bulb flash on camera and not the stock bulb?
i got some a couple years back and the DRL’s would flash just like that so i had to pull the fuse to make it stop. but now i don’t have daylight running lights
With the wattage difference you need an anti flicker canceler
I have hard time finding lights for my highlander 2015 xle that use DRL and high beams in the same bulb...so i get DRL but not high beams...could this lights be the solution to my highlander ???it use 9005 HB3 in that position...advice please...thanks
Unfortunately Im not super aware of the particular car modeI. however I've heard these bulbs work with multiple car models, so if your high beams have the same part number as this one, which is HB3/9005, I would definitely give them a try, it will be worth it if they work on yours. Hope this helps
Installed them on my 2015 toyota camy hybrid se high beams work but the drl don't come on
that is strange, sorry it didn't work out. i haven't had a chance to test them out with the Hybrid edition but i would hope they will work since the se and the hybrid are running the same bulb size :(.
Where you bought 9005?
bought them from ebay a while back. i will also be doing the LED version 9005 soon which i think they are brighter and cleaner look.
Does it flicker?
Bro hb3 is dual beam yes or no ?
Great video. Thank you
thanks
What do i do if bulbs create a spider web pattern on the wall.
If we use higher wattage led will that damage the cover of the car?
I can't really say yes or no, since i don't use my high beams very often, but DRL won't be an issue because it won't use all its wattage. Although personally i don't think it would damage the cover, if anything, it will leave a brown mark around the socket of where the bulb screws in. I had the HID 55w 6000k previously installed and that's what it did. (i'm not complaining)
What HID are you running?
is it same with estima acr50 hb3 high beam bulb?
Yes if your bulb size is HB3, then they should work as your regular beam
thanks
I have a Camry SE 2016. How do I disable the DRL OFF option of the light switch?
I've never tried that, but i think you can disable it in the fuse box somewhere
Just flip it to off on the stalk
If you have the stock radio, there's a setting to keep the auto lights function, but turn off the DRL.
What color are the hid lights?
they are rated at 6000k, roughly about 25%blue and 75%white
2012+ ?
Seems as the LED’s still throw too much light right in front of the car and not enough near the cutoff. The Halogens are brighter in that respect.
Looks like HID is still the king of light distance.
Are you sure they aren’t flickering? Seriously
does it work on honda accord SE 2017? the high beam light size is 9005, but am not sure whether it is hb3..thanks
funny how you say "bolb"
