Before the fulfillment of a promise

Before the fulfillment of a promise, there's a gift of God called THE WAIT.
My turn
I'm holding my bowl
As I stand in the queue
Sometimes I try to peer ahead but my neck always hurts
Turns out, I can't see the future
So I have to keep telling myself, "Wait for your turn"
Or "Your turn is coming"
They say you can't wait idle
That's why I'm writing these poems
I gotta trust that one day, it'll be my turn
Even when I don't know when 'my turn will be
