Jesus restored my femininity
Переглядів 61Місяць тому
If I titled this journey "my femininity journey", I'd be lying because I can't recall a moment where I intentionally worked on my womanhood. Jesus did it. And to be honest I never thought I was that far off until in hindsight and my new attitude I noticed some changes in how I desired to look and present myself. This episode is a journey of God restoring my identity as in gender.
Salvation is THE beginning of a lifelong journey in Christianity
Переглядів 28Місяць тому
Just like a wedding is the beginning of marriage - till do us part, it is the same with salvation. It is the beginning of a Christian journey. Most people have interpreted it as an end. "As long as I get to heaven." There's life to live here and we ought to live it unto Christ Jesus.
lessons I've learned while waiting on God
Переглядів 151Місяць тому
Not all suffering is bad. And definitely, not all suffering has been ordained from the pit of hell. There's suffering in waiting on God. This is the most rewarding suffering. You get to learn about God things you wouldn't learn anywhere else. It is better to submit to God if you're in a season of suffering because He remains faithful. It's written that even when we are faithless He remains fait...

In Gaza?
@@AdamAdamson-t1h what is happening in Gaza is very very unfortunate. If only we had the understanding that Jesus want all people to know Him and become one we wouldn't be fighting our fellow men. We would be fighting the enemy who wants to keep people separated in different religious camps. If God is one, he also desires that all His people should be united in Christ Jesus.
So... you want me to believe that god A sent god B to die whilst god A & god C watched god B being murdered by their chosen people to break the commandment in order to grant the very people who murdered him for their salvation?
Truly I believe God is all living and all merciful and all just. In order to be just we must be punished for sin, in order to be living we must be forgiven. He in his infinite wisdom knew the perfect way to be just not sweeping our sins under the rug, while forgiving, and showing how much he loved us. So yes God chose to come down to earth to take the punishment we deserve that we may be forgiven. He didn’t make up the punishment just to free us, nor did he free us just to earn our submission. The punishment must come because he is holy and we are sinful, we love him for who he is not what he did and who he is is loving so he in love saved us from the punishment we deserve. Just as a judge to be just might lay a well deserved fine even upon his own child but as a father he could be loving and pay that very find with his own money. To let the child go scot free would be unjust, to make the child pay the fine he could not afford would be unloving.
@atreniquedeamus9919 thank you for your sermon; So... you want me to believe that god A sent god B to die whilst god A & god C watched god B being murdered by their chosen people to break the commandment in order to grant the very people who murdered him for their salvation?
@@AdamAdamson-t1h God is one. He's not gods but one. There's no division in Him. God, the only one God exists in 3 equal persons. We can get that from Genesis 1 and John 1. He's God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit. It is a great mystery. If we wholly understood God, would He be God anymore? He's eternal and has always been in existence which makes man who's not eternal not able to concieve such mystery. So we live by faith just like Abraham who believed God and it was accorded to him righteousness (Gen 15). And that's what Christians live by. We trust that Jesus Christ fulfilled all law written by Moses, which we, mere men, were not able to uphold and by that believe we are accorded the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We have the understanding that by our works we cannot please God. The book of Isaiah say that our righteous is like filthy rugs before God. This depiction of a filthy rug is the clothing that was used to wipe after a long call. The only holy and just God compares our righteousness to that. How then can we humans say that we shall please God outside of Christ? It's only through Jesus that we have been accepted in the beloved.
@ yes ☺️. God is multiple persons and one nature indeed very different from what a human mind would come up with on its own. God gave dominion of the earth to humanity and he is not a man that he should lie but a God who keeps his covenants. When humanity sinned and brought death destruction and disease into the word offering up that dominion to Satan he could not go back on his word and take it back because as we all know God doesn’t lie! So he indeed took on human form and took the punishment of all of humanity that we may be saved from the wrath we deserve for our rebellion against our creator. I think of the ai we created to have mind that truly thinks for itself and I think of how quickly we destroy it whenever it lashes out against humanity. I think how we as short sighted weak creatures immediately destroy even the work of our own hands when it no longer serves us and then I think of how merciful and gracious God is that he came down to earth to turn us away from that self destruction instead of simply destroying us himself. But yeah God the father sent down his word in the flesh Jesus Christ that Jesus might suffer on the earth though he deserved none of it for the repayment of the sin we have lavished the earth with since the beginning of time. His perfect sinless blood paid the price. He by the power of the Holy Spirit the spirit of God, rose on the third day and ascended into heaven where even now he is interceding for us with the father. God was kind enough to tell us it would happen hundreds of years before it did and yet we still question it. Isaiah 53:5 was written nearly 600 years before Jesus was born but it perfectly describes the sacrifice of Christ. That’s how much God loves you. He did something to save us that even today the very people he wishes to save mocks. I ask you now: is there anything to support the idea that the crucifixion didn’t happen? Is there any reason that the men who walked with Jesus would have a reason to die horrifically for something they knew to be a lie? Why do people continue to meet Jesus even when they do not know the Bible. Why would nature give us consciousness or even the ability to question God. What’s the point of a moral compass if there is no higher power and how will evil in the world be punished if there is not heaven and hell.
Moses did not preach judyism nor did jesus preach xtianity they preached both preached & practised islaam.
In Islam Allah is not the father of anyone and no one can come to God as anything other than a slave. and Jesus clearly prayed to his father and Moses also called him the father of Israel. Israel is the bride, Abraham was a friend of God, as Christian’s we are adopted as children while Jesus was born the son of God. All of this goes against Islamic teaching in the Quran so Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and anyone who worships the God of the Bible or Torah cannot call themselves a Muslim.
Christianity is the following of the teachings of Christ. Christ taught the people to follow him making him a Christian (though the word did not exist at the time). The teachings of Judaism originate with Moses and he followed those teachings making him a Jew (by both birth and lifestyle). The teachings of the Quran contradict the Bible meaning neither could be a Muslim.

Ur correct.
Hallelujah sister. Romans 8:29-30 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

The description of our days in your first few lines hits differently, resonating with our everyday experiences. You really connect. This piece is definitely beautifully done with a soul reaching capability. The part of embracing our dark moments is what is occasionally hard for one to do because that is when most feel alone. But you've given a solution right there, that there's one who's constant, present in both situations. Putting our focus on Him is what will sustain us, helping us to thrive even in our darkest moments.
Well, put. Thank you.
