That first yard sale is what is going to happen when I pass away. My collections and the thrill of the hunt mean nothing to my family. The stories will be lost but it made me happy. Love what you do and thanks for sharing.♥️👍🏼
Same here bud!
I got the same feeling.
Well guess what sir.. many people will appreciate your collections. The ones we love do not always understand our interests, but you doing what you like means something to everyone including your family and people like me
Same can happen with a lot of peoples collection... my grandpa had so many pipe fittings, had a few crates with 6 brass ball valves, 2" big ones, 100 dollar each atleast now, but they had to just be scrapped. Hard to find a buyer for
Thank you Shane, that first stop you made was so cool and heartbreaking at the same time, a mans lifetime of a rock collection not worth much.
Sounds like stamp collections.
You'd be surprised what some, actually a lot of that stuff can fetch. Especially now that everyone in Hollywood is into crystals and "healing stones"
There a small fortune there if he went to a rock and mineral show.
@@tashacherry1480 that is true, but it appeared that the good stuff was already cherry picked, which the owner said.
There’s actually quite a lot of money to be made with a collection like that, but a garage sale isn’t the right place for it.
Not true the original collection was probably worth millions or tens of millions. Especially if sold individually or in parcels online.
Hi Shane. Just a quick massage to say thank's for the surprise package included!
My wife bought me your starter kit and a couple of your paydirt bags for our wedding anniversary. She was worried that it wouldn't arrive in time, but because you dispatched it the very same day as the order, it made it to Ireland, and through customs to arrive on the actual day of our anniversary. It was a wonderful surprise! I was delighted to see that you had signed the gold pan, AND included a bag of crumbs too.
Now, we are camera shy, so I won't be making a review, and we don't have a scales accurate enough to weigh what gold we find, but that isn't important to me. I'm just looking forward to actually panning for the wonder stuff for the very first time.
I will let you know how we get on this coming weekend.
Best regards to you and your wife. 😁
Wow thanks for letting me know your paydirt arrived just in time It's always IFFY with international orders so it's always great to hear when they arrive especially on time , AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
happy wife happy life happy anniversary.
I could have spent all day at the first yard sale. Thanks Shane.
7:00 I’ve noticed this trend at garage sales the last couple of years. People tend to look things up and find out what the near mint highest sale was on eBay and for some reason they round up and put that on the sticker for their beat up box of missing pieces
12:36 “yep, it works” 😂
I love the discreet magnet @ 3:43, that is freaking genius!
I love yard sales. You can only get good garden tools from old people selling stuff. New tools don’t last.
That’s true
Dude ! 😊I know your brain must have been on overload seeing all that cool stuff that's right down your alley.
Looks like you had fun. I had fun watching. Thanks.
5:22 that got me 😂😂 your videos are so interesting thank you for the new upload! 🤩
Thanks for sharing your garage sale experience Shane.
cheers famo59
My dad had that monopoly set with the quarter-fold board and wooden houses/hotels.
That was an awesome yard sale Shane
Brilliant
Thank you Shane, I enjoy these videos. ☺
I'm in love with that sale!!!
I always love the garage sales. You have done better before but that doesn't matter.
I really enjoyed the video, as always. It did look like so much fun. ATB!! 🤗🤗
Really impressive rock collection at the first house 👍
That guy had a nice rock collection great video
Hey Shane good to see your still able to get up and around. I finally got my medical card so dealing with my pain better. Wish you the best and keep making these awesome videos!!
Thanks glad you’re feeling good 👍
Puff Puff Pass! Go Army we beat Navy this year. :) Thanks for the awesome videos. I hope you guys are all staying safe & stoned.
Really cool stuff!
Your a well rounded cool dude Klesh!!👍🏼

i like the out and about exploring video! definately make these kinds too!
Just bought my. Very first paydirt off you today thanks for all you do and teach I'm just starting out
That garage sale with the "Gold Nugget" was awesome if you were into lapidary work polishing rocks
Not trying to be a corrector, but the green stones are indeed peridot, not pronounced peri-dot,but pronounced pear -a- dough, love your garage, yard sales, thanks fellow brother!
Thumbs up from me Shane.` `Enjoyed the video, your use of discernment and the tools to back it up!
Like your shirt! and your videos Keep it up!
Thank Shane.
That first yard sale was awesome, I don't know much, pretty much anything about rocks and geodes and what not but I def would a bought some cool looking stuff. Thanks for the video cheers
I would go nuts at that first sale!!!!
That's awesome. Yeah, do more of them!@
Is right Shaun!!!! Lee, Liverpool, UK.
great video ;)
alot of cool rocks and gems ;)
Hi! Such a cool rock collection. I would still be there! Made me sad too, but obviously a collection someone had a fun life accumulating. His stepdad had very cool taste!
Yup! Dude was a rockhound for sure!
nice stuff
Awesome treasure hunt Shane. I like that you carry a magnet to check if it's fake. YeeYee brotatorchip
YOU NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU LOOK GRAT VIDEO.
That estate sale was cool.
Fire opals are gorgeous.. I still love purple opal more but, they definitely are pretty. It's insane how expensive opal has gotten. Dan would be freaking out over those gems if he saw this. :D my sister had that Wheel of Fortune game. Some of those peridot look worth faceting, they are pretty gemmy.
I love yard sales about a month ago I stopped at one they had a pile of 5 gold pans and a gold rush starter kit picked it up for 10 bucks the kit was never opened and still had the two bag of pay dirt and all the other goodies it was by far the best $10 I've spent!
The goat!!
Wow I would have gone absolutely nutty at that first yard sale!😍
That first yard sale was cool shane.really enjoyed seeing all the stones.shame the nugget was fake but one day you never know 🤞🙂
Can't win them all Shane, but you did show some really cool stuff at the first yard sale.
I see a lot of lapidary supplies; my grandfather did lapidary work as a hobby. I got a couple of his stick pins and a jade pendant.
I can’t be the only one who’s brain immediately went ala Captain Jack Sparrow “I got a jar of dirt, I got a jar of dirt” as soon as the yard sale description hit 🤣
Do you have any idea how many dollars worth of stuff you passed by at that last sale
Probably worth something to somebody
Wow you are the best
Nice
OMFG how many rocks and minerals!!!
Now that’s deadly!!!!! Frigggin AUsome!!!
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing another adventure in treasure hunting.
I would have a really hard time leaving the rock one. I would want to touch every box. And turn almost everything over just to make sure I didn't miss something.🤣
Man I would want to run up on these stones!
My happiest time in life is when i find a big bag of unsearched jewlery for next to nothing and get to go home a search through it ..but nowadays its a very rare to come across i miss the old days before everyone else does what i luv doing i am 43 and been doing yard sales and swapmeets since i been a little kid ..i grew up thrifting and swap meeting with my parents....
The silver cone tip is for a Bolo tie.
I'm not reading the comment so I don't get spoiled. But you just got to the place with the rocks and I'm wanting to know how many of us are screaming by it all klesh buy it all! Offer him $1,000 for it all right now! I don't know what you're going to do but I sure hope you buy it all. I love all those rocks.
I had no idea how much was going to be there at that time. Crazy amounts of stuff there. You did well you left with only 10 bucks out of your pocket. I would have gone crazy but I guess because you just had the gem show you're full up like you said.
I bought a bag of gold krumb paydirt from your site. (i'm new at panning). I found a few tiny specs of gold and larger pieces of quarts. I came cross a maily blue, purple, red stone, changges colors when moved around. Very Pretty! do you know what it is? Thanks, Michelle
You want uranium glass, come to the Brass Armadillo in Phoenix Az. They have tons there. Small big...etc.
Cool I’ll check it next time I’m in town
Hey, after following LGR I always love a little “thrifting” even if your interests are different.
Dan Hurd sells medium sized individual Peridot stones for $9 ea. So you may have something there.
10:50 looks like the very first 1980 Budweiser mug. They go for $350 all day long come Xmas time. A little less after that.
Oh wow !
A thing to keep an eye out for that I briefly saw in this video: At the first place there was some jewelry making craft wire. Depending on the wire used, sometimes that's just straight up 100% sterling silver wire. Sometimes it'll be copper cored silver wire, which isn't quite as bad, value wise, as plate or filled stuff. Normally it's about 10% by weight silver. If it's not in its original package you can tell by looking at the cut end of the wire with your loupe: The cored stuff will have a notably thick band of silver around the copper instead of just a thin veneer.
Same with solder, some is like 40% silver
Literally hit Gold at a yard sale, nice
I wish I was at that yard sale
This is why I don't buy a rock tumbler. 🤣
It's impossible to find a parking spot at estates sales anymore.
Yard sale
Hold my beer 🍺
Careful showing your license plate with all the crazies out there these days. Great vid, TY!
This
Awww...should have gotten the amber. xo
I asked and He wanted WAY too much for it ($60) I got a much better deal at the gem and mineral show last month on much bigger pieces
When you were checking those wings to see if it was magnetic I think it was the staple that was magnetic not the wings
7:15 !!! I wanna know how much 😂
Everything was overpriced that I asked about
A vid with rare coins would be kool. Morgans, Peace, mercury dimes Seated coin ect. I really like coins with cc mint mark.
You should check out some of my other yard sale videos , I've found over 100 silver coins in one of them, with a CC morgan included
2 words: Living Will 😢
Love the yard sale videos😄!!
In 4:30 about the 2 wings, was probably real silver and not metallic which you called magnetic and when you put it next to the magnet it stuck to it because it had that small piece of stapler which is metal and kept the bag closed, so you probably missed out on some real silver
Yep I noticed that too 👍
Had me going with that gold nugget. I feel bad for the guy with all the rocks. He needs to bring that stuff to a swap meet or something.
The piece at about 3 minutes looks like it could be a cool one-hitter. lol 420
Cool video I liked those peridot a couple looked gem quality but hard to tell from the video. I really liked the fire Opal and was hoping you were going to be able to get it but that’s how it goes sometimes 🤷🏻
Thanks for the comment and for watching- yeah the opal was cool . Last month I had an opportunity to purchase many similar rocks for a lower price at the gem show that I passed on.
Oh well keep going.
*fights envy*
Was this out in Fort Collins? I wonder if he’s still selling
No this was Denver
I have found a few marbles that are uranium
I had no idea Monopoly has been around sooooo long. People been collecting 200 for pass go for decades 😲😅
Cool video, I didn't hit any Yard Sales this year. With winter coming next year will be time to see if I can get on something good. Thanks for sharing Cheers from Canada!
These people have enough to start their own version of pay dirt @_@
Those are insane items at that garage sale compared the ones where I live 😀🤔 Shouldve bought out all the geodes at a bulk price cause they resell like hot cakes! Couple grand worth of internet auctions. The peridot package is definitely worth a lot more than what you paid! $120+ for the peridot where I live as long as its not treated!
Awesome cool to know!
@@Klesh I also wanted to mention maybe take a lil more time to go through his rock piles. Most mining schools and geology course students go for prime ore/rock/mineral sample for display and educational use or to prove theory. Like example maybe 1-10 pcs. They will leave the bulk. Still value. The wooden crate with the newspaper rolled rocks look like pryoclastic and volcanic, with the bin beside looking like pegmatite which actual has high mineral and oxidation mineral content...cause you wouldnt carry useless rocks with no value back from any site or project. Could be simple unprocessed or unacid treated mineral specimens. Tons of potential for profit. Setup a rock shop online and load the shit out of it!
awesome video Shane :) not really much of value to find for you but nice walk around :)
Id have asked 'how much for all the rock n gem stuff'...lol
He was charging (over) gem show prices so I wasn’t expecting any deals really
How do you it was silver plated, can you show us how to know whether the thing are fake or not?
I’ll buy the peridot for $20!
Those wings had staples in the packet. I think its sil er
Always treasure to find, lol might be just a good deal, rare that it's on some real "treasure". Found a tiny amount of silver cheap before
I’d buy that glass for 10$. 👍
Click bait, you build excitement and just say have a nice day.
The definition of Clickbait is content irrelevant thumbnails. This thumbnail is taken directly from my video so how is it Clickbait?
That’s like $30 worth of pragot
As a Western Australia prospector I see a fake nugget just from the thumbnail.
Good eye ⛏
funny u say "urainium glass" isnt that expensive....here in canada sasak i been watchign auctions and sets of 2-3 of them usually go for anywhere from 100-250 bucks
Here it’s pretty affordable, especially the more common patterns
Lol urban gold
