Any idea, why a hybrid amp with 12ax7 preamp and solid state amplifier, will fluctuate volume randomly? Also my main amp i usually use for practice has shot out on me. I had scratchy pots and cleaned them up with deoxit, when I tested the amp out later I got no volume after awhile I got some but kept cutting out with no signal check cables and guitar they're fine worked thru other ones but yeah now I can't sleep im hoping I didn't mess up the main amp.. also hoping I hooked the speakers up right.
Well I doubt anyone else is gunna see your question..so I'll try to help. First make absolutely sure your speaker is hooked up correctly and solidly. Second make sure you didn't bump your preamp tube loose give it a good push into the socket. Third make sure you didn't move/break any connections from the pots you were cleaning. Sometimes those pots can get loose and you need to re-solder those connections they make to the circuit boards or wires. Even in the video he broke a wire loose...it's no big deal you just put it back. Now this video showed you how to de-energize your amp..so if you are comfy with the work do it...but if you are not get a buddy who is or take it to a tech.
unintentional asmr. i got so many tingles from this.
Geralt of Rivia teaches you how amps repair works. Nice.
You thought of a different movie than I thought of. (-:
